I taped it. I liked it. The setting is nice and i though it was a good pilot. Did anyone else see it?

I didn't watch it. I thought it looked like an "The O.C." ripoff. It was okay, though?

Yeah. I thought the same thing too. They don't have a story really surrounding one person. THere are no kids on it also. I finally found my summertime show :D. Even when O.C. comes back, i would still watch North Shore (hopefully it will still be around)

I thought that too. I think they wanted us to think that, as that's the way they advertised it as. I thought their commercials would turn off a lot of people.
I tuned in halfway through, and thought it was okay. Maybe something I would watch every once in awhile.

My friend is a regular extra on that show. I'm glad that the actors aren't trying to talk in the local pidgin (ex. "Eh, Brah!", or "Mahalo!")
I didn't see it though....

I hope its last this whole summer at least. It has a different vibe from O.C. More sophiscated or somenthing.

I watched it. I am not sure that I really liked it. I think that the show will change now that the girl from The OC (can't remember her name) has joined the cast.

Im glad they arent but I refuse to watch cuz its full of white people. Where are all the hawaiian ppl, damnit?
No offense intended but I live in Hawaii and Ive been to North Shore. If youre going to do a show about the North SHore at least make it representative of teh people there. Geez. I hate how tv caters to caucasians most of the time.

I did notice that. I was like "Wow you think being Hawaii you would see at least one hawaiian person?" The show is pretty good though.

I know. Its pisses me off to. Its the same with O.C., but i cant say too much or they will close the room, and i tend to flame up at these subjects!

Ultimate Mother, I laugh as well. But half of the Hawaiians on the North Shore are on welfare and probably do some sort of crime. I live on the North Shore, and have a quarter Hawaiian. I know that I don't want to see that.

Anyways the show is kewl although its lacking the native people.

I was really blown away with Amanda Righetti's (Tessa) acting in this weeks episode. I loved how she was so dark and mysterious. You didnt know what she was going to do next. Even if this show dosen't last long I think it was a good idea for her to do it. It shows off her acting chops way better than "O.C.".

It was cancelled.

I hadn't seen a single minute of it and didn't plan to, but it isn't really surprising that it got cancelled.

Anyone think there's any chance they'll put Season 1 out on DVD even though the series has been cancelled?

North Shore did a very good job with the ratings...what in the world is wrong with the network fox...man, fox should be bankrupt by now from all the dumb moves it makes.

Actually, it had poor ratings. I went to Yahoo! and searched for "North Shore ratings FOX" (since I didn't really want hotel ratings) and the vast majority of the hits were links to articles saying that North Shore was cancelled because of poor ratings.

And I only watched that episode for one reason! lol

My friend and I ended up watching a lot of the episodes... We mostly just made fun of Brooke Burns... Something about her face makes us laugh hysterically. We dubbed her "Botox Barbie" and made a Sims 2 Sim that looks JUST LIKE HER. It's FRIGHTENING how much it looks like her. Hee!

I may have been a little harsh, but i could not watch it, just did not do anything for me, but I feel bad for any fan who gets a show taken away from them, that being said, I just could not see NS surviving to another season, and you may agree that fox is known for dropping the axe quick on a show. I guess I hate fox more so than NS, you should still get a DVD box. :D

I don't know about getting a dvd boxset, but I liked the show. I still kind of wonder what is going to happen to poor Jason. hehe:D

was NS a full season? even if were 13 or so eps, the network is greedy enough to take the money from the fans, especially fox, they are releasing tru calling's six eps on dvd, so NS is just sbout a sure thing. I could be wrong, but I think the fans will get the DVD, I hope jason is ok for you

Yeah, North Shore was a full season. It started last summer like the O.C. did but I think that it started in June or July instead of August. I missed a lot of episodes but I was still able to get into the story. It was better when Shannen Doherty come on. She just spices up a show.

yeah SD does spice things up quite a bit, the last show i really watched her in, was a little bit of Charmed and hate to admit it but 90210, ok so I watched that show:lol:
So NS was a full season, you will see that on DVD by christmas or early next year, I could almost guarantee it.:D
