Does anyone want him to return? I felt he was a useful guest star when he appeared on the show. Not like it feels this season where they're just adding people to have people on the show, and not moving the story along at all.

It'd be interesting to see what it would be like if he returned so yeah I'd like to see it but I don't very much care for the character. He was very mean to Rachel! :(.

I think he was one of the best things on season one and he has been the only guy I had really liked with Rachel. The way they written him off was so awful imo. How he threated her...it felt so rushed and out of the blue tbh. At the moment I didn't know with who I was more upset...with him for being so mean to Rachel just like that or with the writers :lol: But anyway, I love Groff so yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing him again on the show either.

I just didn't get his animosity towards Rachel in the end. Only saw season 1 once, so maybe I'm missing something about how they ended things. :S

That being said Quinn and Jesse would've been even better. :)

No comment on the Quinn/Jesse idea... but no, you haven't missed anything. When the episode Funk rolled around, i rewatched all the episodes again twice each just to see if i'd somehow missed anything... i didn't. The ending of the Rachel/Jesse ship really was THAT choppy and badly written and totally abrupt. You guys aren't the only ones who think this...

The fact that it was written so badly, that it felt so out of the blue, is why i kinda forgive Jesse for what he did, because it didn't even feel like he's the one who did it. The scene was too unbelievably out of nowhere and out of sequence with everything else that was going on with the show that i simply don't see it fitting the actual storyline.

Anyway i want Jesse back, i liked him with Rachel before AND i feel like the writers owe his character for the bad writing at the end... if they want to make him the bad guy, i don't care, make him mean to rachel, make him emotionally torment her for eternity, but for heaven's sake please please please make it actually make sense! Don't just say, 'and then they broke up' out of the blue... least they could have done was have a scene where he's called back to Vocal Adrenaline or something, maybe even have a minor shot or two showing his face all angsty and torn before he left.

Well, I don't think I could stand if he comes back just to make Rachel miserable lol I mean, Finn still owe me a few for less than that. But yeah, I get your point.

And yeah, I agree with Lisa. What bothers me the most I guess it's that he didn't look like he regretted a thing. When New Directions performed the Punk number, his last line...he was like a robot or something lol How was it? "I feel so depressed" and his face was totally blank. I mean, what the heck? that wasnt Jesse at all.

He really needs to come back because I feel so cheated.

Well yeah, i don't want him to come back just to be mean to Rachel... but i still would have preffered him being horrible to Rachel than the break up we got.

But yeah... same here, i really felt cheated when it came to Jesse... that's why i want him back. And yeah, that end scene in Funk was funny, but not really like Jesse at all... maybe the other Vocal Adrenaline people are like that but not him... to me, Jesse is like Rachel, only not insecure.

Exactly. When he got back at Rachel (only God knows for what) and egged her, it was kinda like what Rachel did to Sushine. Again, kinda. Only that she regretted everything and her reasons while selfish weren't mean to hurt.

Totally want the Groff to return and in fact Ryan Murphy has said he wants to write a return for Jesse in the back 9 of this season if Groff is available.

I thought Jesse should come back as (at least the interim) coach of Vocal Adrenaline. Actually I don't care how or why, I just want him to come back and sing! (I would seriously pay money to hear Groff and Colfer sing together. They are my two faves and have, IMO, the best voices on the show.)

Also, i love your icon haha... poor Sam, both Bobby and Castiel are Dean!Girls... but then souless Sam isn't so fun so i'm liking him less too.

I guess I was thinking about Jesse's reactions to recent events of Season 2 and wondering what he would have to say about it all, including Sam's joining New Directions.

But yeah, I miss the Groff and hope that Jesse returns in the back 9.
