View Full Version : Ahhh, now I understand why Jonathan died.
More accurately, I now understand why Jonathan died of a heart attack. It seems clear that his heart condition was an aftereffect of that supercharge he received from Jor-El in the final ep of season 3. Until now, I hadn't seen that part where Jonathan looks like a wreck after the incident. Now it makes total sense. Jonathan sacrificed his good health to save Clark. Looks like his death was sort of Clark's fault after all...

I'd say Clark will always have had a part to play in Jonathan's death, but in the end it all came down to that Jonathan made his own descision to go after Clark no matter what and he'd do it again. So it's like he says himself, it's his own descision that killed him, but Clark might have had a little part in it.

Clark did not kill Jonathon!
You're right. It's inaccurate to say it was Clark's fault. Unless you blame Clark for existing. I meant the comment more in that sense. But I did give it a hint of irony since Clark blames himself for everything and lets everyone else do the same.
Oh yeah, I also watched the episode where they expressly say what the deal was between Jonathan and Jor-El. lol People who had already seen it must have been loling at me. :)
