View Full Version : A question for the K-site Krew: What will YOU do when the series is over?

I've been wondering something: Once the series is completed, where do you go from here? Do you keep the site alive and continue to update it with actor news and Superman updates or do you leave it be and let it stand as a monument to ten years hard work?

The reason I ask is because I was an enormous fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000 back in the day (they went off the air in late 1999) yet www.mst3kinfo.com still rages on today!

So, have you thought about YOUR future post-show?

That's a question that comes up every few months around here :) I have seen and love that MST3K site, too :)

KryptonSite will remain once Smallville is over, and beyond. And who knows - if there's ever a new Superman TV show - it'll surely be the place to read about it. Other old sites in the network like http://gothamclocktower.com and even http://aquamantv.com still exist to this day.

I think what will change more than anything is more focus on KSiteTV http://ksitetv.com which is a more generalized TV site, and I wouldn't be surprised if eventually this forum migrates over there too. Hopefully the mods and posters will stick around after a move.

If you have more questions, feel free to ask at http://formspring.me/craigksite I often answer questions about K-Site, Smallville, and whatever over there :) Thanks for asking - that's a fun question!

Once I eventually get over the fact that I will no longer see a beloved show I've enjoyed over the past 9 years....I'll still remain posting on K-Site so I can still look at some of the awesome pictures, manips, fan fics and my SV DVD's to help me pull through :D

It seems sad to think that this will become an old site! I would hope seeing as all the hard work that has been put into it that Kryptonsite can evolve into a sort of DC/SCI FI Universe of Super heroes!

As Buzz LightYear claims... ' To Infinity and Beyond'

There's always a need for TV show forums. Ksite will find a niche again someday

Yeah you're probably right but at least we've still got the rest of the season to enjoy! It's not over yet!

Since I only have seasons 1, 4 and 6 on DVD, I'll definitely be collecting all the other seasons and wait eagerly for the tenth season on DVD and all the extras on it! :)

It has been noted somewhere that WB is making a Wonder Women Pilot so will you continue with that? Also ABC is starting a series which involves the Incredible Hulk. I so wish WB would go with an older version of Superman but I think from the WB's standpoint they need a break from that for a bit. Wonderwomen would be nice though!!

It will be a little hard to cope, for me. I've been watching Smallville sicne I was 8 I grew up with it so it will be a little hard. But I'm glad I discovered this website because now that I'm older I can actaully interact with other people about the show. Instead of just being in awe of the speacial effects and swooning over the dreamy Tom Welling.

I'll have a nervous breakdown!.

No, I'll just re-watch my favourite seasons and continue coming here to chat about it since no one is as hooked on it as I am at home :(.

If it gets picked up, of course it'll be covered here on the forum and at http://wonderwomantv.com Also very interested in the new Hulk TV show that might be happening - that'll be at http://hulktv.net if the show happens.

Either way I hope there'll be enough to keep people sticking around to talk about this stuff.

I hope Kryptonsite doesn't ever fizzle out, I made so many friends and memories on this board. :)

I'll probably re-watch the whole ten seasons and keep on creating more fan fictions for Smallville. :) Heck Smallville is the only show I have more than 20 fan fictions for :D:lol:
