For the past two days (well, at least all yesterday and the night before), I couldn't post. Everything I typed came out in Times New Roman and the formatting toolbar wouldn't respond to my clicks; then when I actually tried to submit what I'd written, it wiped the message and said I hadn't typed a long enough post. It finally seems to have let up this morning. Has anyone else had this problem?

It seems like lately a third of all the threads on the KryptonSite Forums do not function properly... they give me this error:

503 Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily busy, try again later!

It's pretty frustrating... Everytime I see a thread I think might me interesting, I click on it and what do you know?! It doesn't work... Not sure what the problem is. Anybody know? Is this site just pretty much shutting down as it transitions to simply becoming KSite (in anticipation of Smallville going off the air)? I hope not, but it sort of seems that way...

I thought I would experiment a bit... I tried using Safari (I am on a mac) and I don't seem to be getting the "503 Service Unavailable" message that I was getting on Firefox... I am not sure why my browser would be cause server error messages, but anyway... seems to have resolved the issue.

When you get that error it means we have too many people logged into the site and it has become so slow that the pages time out before loading. The website will be running long after Smallville ends - please do not suggest otherwise.

There are multiple reasons for this error. One of which is there are a lot of people logging on at one time, server traffic, servers your computer is talking to, your service packs (if using windows) might be outdated, you might need to update drivers, could be the security software you're using, etc.

If you found that it works best only with a specific browser then it might also be the browser settings causing the problem.

You can PM me if you're still trying to figure out the issue and it could just be simply adjusting your settings in another browser.
