I don't see any news about Heroes anywhere, does it mean that this show is officially over?? At the end of Season4, They plotted volume six preview, I was thinking that NBC would take break and have Season5 for the show. Now i guess Heroes won't be coming back, Looks like people are moved on!!
Do you think there would be a chance for Heroes ??:confused:

Sorry to break it to ya but NBC confirmed Heros cancelation like 7 months ago. Everyone on the show has already moved onto other projects. I believe the reason was low ratings, i've watched the show since Season 1. To me the Chapter 5 arc was the weakest I just couldn't get into it.

Hmm.. I believe TV show has Ups and downs, NBC should given one more shot for Heroes, It is a great TV show, All it was requiring better characters, story and direction.
I think Season 4 is the most boring one, i never liked the Villans from Season4

Fugitive was easily the second worst Nathan being the big bad gimme a break. NBC's problem is they kill their shows too soon a subcriber of mine on You Tube. Earlier this year was mad about it,stating Smallville has had low ratings for years. Both shows were about the same in ratings yet Heros was still cancelled. Then again I doubt NBC has much life left anyway. The head of the network is close to being fired so I don't think NBC will be around in another 2 years.

Yeah..I completely agree, NBC doesn't care about shows, They only care about Profits, pure business minded people. I am sure people would turn their back on NBC soon.

It doesn't make much sense that they would care about profits over shows, that IS their business. Improve the show quality, make more money it's not complex math

I wouldn't say that's strictly true. Unfortunately, quality doesn't always relate to viewing figures (see: Arrested Development, Veronica Mars, Firefly, et al.) and so doesn't always lead to the highest profits.

NBC isn't going anywhere in two years. The president might get fired, they might change up the staff - whatever they think will turn the company around, but they're not in danger of disappearing. At least, not in that short amount of time.

That describes... all networks though, except maybe public television. Every network is out to make money. CBS, FOX, ABC, the CW, the cable networks... they all want better ratings so that they can charge advertisers more for ad time. NBC isn't different from them in the least. They're managed differently, sure, but it's not like NBC is somehow greedier than any other network.
FOX, on the other hand, has cancelled critically-acclaimed shows because they weren't making money. Not shows that had slowly gotten worse and people were insisting just needed "better direction and writing" - shows that were either in their PRIME or just starting out and showing tons of promise. They, IMO, are much worse than NBC at that sort of thing.
Frankly, I don't understand why people wish Heroes hadn't been cancelled. Everyone I talk to agreed the show went downhill. The ratings were low. They changed writers multiple times, each time insisting the show would "turn around." It never did. It was a sinking ship. I get that people wish NBC hadn't cancelled it because they think it was about to get better again or something, but it wasn't working. We've still got the first season. Let's move on.

Fair explanation, I do agree that Heroes has gone down from Season3, it become worst in Season 4.

I actually quite enjoyed Season Four (if I'm right in thinking that is the carnival season). I disliked Season Three, with Nathan hunting the supers, the most.

The series should have ended after the first season... then it would have been an awesome show.

I don't know but some how i never liked Season 4, i think they have dragged the story very slowly, but i agree that there were few episode in Season 4 was best, Example the Wall and the Final episode. They are outstanding!!

Oh dear, Season 1 had an average 15 million viewers, I don't think NBC would never consider to end it with Seaoson1 but i do like that idea.. Nothing was great after season1

Every season of Heroes was incredible kept me on the edge of my seat every episode. Only thing i didn't likewas the downgrade of Peter's and Hiro's powers.

Ah, while I loved Season 1 and agree that it was never the same afterwards, if it had ended there we never would've gotten Elle...

I know, I know. I understand why they continued. All I am saying is that Heroes should have been a One Season Series.

Season 1 was a fantastic season. Great storytelling, well written, good acting and great effects. But after that... what the hell happened?

there are may reasons..
Example:
Sylar coming back in all seasons and his character become too boring, In season2
he was returned but actually did nothing, he returned in Season 3 as villan and involved with sentimental brother hood drama with peter, finally his death, He again comes back in Season 4 , this time he looks for redemption!! Holy crap..I don't want that sylar.. i want the most evil sylar from season.. He was so perfect and gave me goose bumps!!

Yup, Sylar was a really cool villian in the first season. I really hated what they did with him in Season 4.
