Hey... I'm not sure if a thread like this has been established before, but I'm a data-analyzing type of guy, and wanted to see what people thought, so... Please respond to this post, if you're willing, by ranking the main characters who have been on Smallville from your favorite to least favorite. Please do NOT go into detail about why you ranked certain people extremely low, as I don't want this to degenerate into bashing, shipper wars, etc. I'm just honestly curious to see how you would rank all the mains who have ever been on Smallville in its history. Interesting idea Jeff. Maybe you could make kind of countdown..........people would PM you their lists with rankings from 1st to last (1st place would be worth 17 points and last worth 1 point) than you just sum up scores for each character and every day reveal one place (from last to first) and maybe write a short description about the character. And maybe it could be done with guessing game where people would guess next position.
I saw it on a different forum and it was pretty popular and people usually commented on the position of certain characters..........just a thought.
And if it´s stupid idea just ignore it :)

And about ranking characters here.........I have to think about it a little, so I´ll be back later.

Chloe has always been the least favorite character for me, she expands time so much, she wasn't as bad though, it was only till later in season 5, when I got bothered by the "Thrist" episode, since then, season 5, Chloe has become the second most important character on the series. She increased her screen time in season 5. That's one of the reasons why season 5 was so boring. I just would like it so much better if they could have a big three, Clark, Lois, and Lex, or Zod. No long triangle though, just Clark and Lois in love. Lex being the main badass, or Zod. And Oliver, because he's another superhero. Davis around 8, I really mean Doomsday though, a limited arc, it's just his character didn't rap up the way I thought it would. Jimmy should have been a supporter in the series alongside Lois and Clark. Lastly, but not least, Jonathan and Martha Kent as the supporting parents for Clark which would give the show its moral structure.

I wish the show didn't have to focus on Chloe so much. The show could just be so much better without her. I don't see why people want her to hook up with Clark, she's an annoying watchtower wannabe, and superhero wannabe, and devotes herself to Clark so much. Her personality annoys me. I'd like her more if Clark would somehow relate to her, because he's always serious around her, never lighting up with a good sense of humor, I find their friendship so BORING.

I like Clark and Lois, before they were a couple. There was so much chemistry.

I hated Whitney he used to annoy me I really wanted Clark to kick his butt. Lana was ok in the first few seasons but then she started to grate on me, I swear she acted like she was Clark's Mum sometimes. I liked Pete but I'm still mad at him for leaving so early. Never cared much for Davis.

But of course Clark is number 1 with Lex a close second. Clark is the star of the show hes the reason (Well been a Superman fan aswell) that I watch the show.
