[The Man, II]

this show is a canadian show, whose series premiere was tonight. i must say it was great. the show is about a man named morgan, who collects damned souls for the devil. if any of you have Space channel, definitely check this one out. it's kind of the opposite to Joan of Arcadia, where God is different every show, cause here, the divil changes.
oh yeah, rob labelle (dr. walden) will be appearing on the show, and remember that sweet little girl from "accelerate"? she guest stars as the devil!!! check it out, if possible.

I saw it and I'm already in love with it. I can't wait until next Wednesday for the next episode. I find it really interesting that he didn't succeed in saving the rap star's soul. I like the idea that it isn't easy and that he may fail sometimes. I think if he always managed to save the damned I would find it less interesting. Oh, and little Emily as the devil - that was creepy!

i know! that kid is creepy. the way she said " i sent him to hell anyway" was crazy, hearing a kid say it. also, on the preview when she says "go back to your whore". good stuff

She always manages to pull off the psycho look. I hope she'll be back as the devil in future episodes. One of the commercials show her taking a drawing from the autistic kid and burning it. So I guess she'll be back.

The show does sound quite intriguing and I am jealous that it can only be seen in Canada. However, the show does sound awfully similar to a short lived series on FOX called "Brimstone" which coincedentally starred Smallville's own John Glover as the Devil. I loved the show. It had great effects, a wonderful premise, and John Glover was fantastic as the Devil.

A cop named Ezekial Stone killed the man who raped his wife. A year later Zeke is killed in the line of duty in 1983. However, since his wife was not killed, Zeke could not go to heaven because it was not eye for an eye. The Devil makes a deal with Zeke and says that he will let him have his soul back, if he recaptures all the monsters and demons that managed to escape hell and return to Earth. Zeke agrees and is sent back to Earth 15 years after he was killed to recapture the demons. He is also invulnerable because you cannot kill what already died. Each demon was sent back to hell when Zeke punctured the eyes, because the eyes are the window to the soul. Since Zeke used to be a police detective, he uses his detective skills to track the demons down.
