View Full Version : Okay, admit it. Who's been thinking of Heroes in the past tense?

This week has been an interesting feeling, with hints that a Season 5 might be happening with a 13-episode order, at least.
It got me to thinking... in my mind, I think I had come to terms with the idea that Heroes would be gone, and even started thinking of the series in the past tense. Did anyone else fall into this trap?
Not saying it was hoping for the show to be over or anything; just kind of a.. resignation. Am I the only one, or were others out there more optimistic?

I think my brain is still confused. To me it still feels like mid season. I keep checking online to see when the next episode is, because i keep forgetting we aren't just in a break... that was actually the season finale...
And what happened again?
No I won't be sad or surprised it's gone, because i've barely even acknowledged it was here for the last two years. It's been a constant heavy heart, watching and hoping to see just some of the magic from season 1... and finding absolutely none.
Season 1 I will buy. Maybe season 2 because I loved Adam. And I will just end it there I think.

ITA...I was barely watching this last season. I hardly remember most of it, expect for the season finale. I kept hoping it would go somewhere, but it never really managed to reach its season 1 level. I blame it on season 1, it was just too good. They didn't know where to go from there and the writers strike didn't help.

i have pretty much forgotten all about it. i've been watching every episode since it started and well that last episode with claire jumping and all that i for some reason saw it as a series finale. since then the show has stop existing for me. that ending made me feel like it was the end. that's how i've been seeing it since.
I love heroes so I'm not taking(yet) in past tense. For me the only problem with the show is the 'death' stuff, I mean if he's dead than stay dead other wise it's one of my fave shows.
Would be a shame to end it with a 13 ep final season, if the show is really a goner, than give him a proper finale and have an order to 22 episodes to tie all plots and other.
I hope at least if it's really season 5 the last season than the the viewership will increase a bit
