Yea, with Bart I got a kick out of and he wasnt evil.

The SV Yearbook called it a run-on joke for Chloe to fall for the wrong guys, and AlMiles liked that aspect. I think it transferred over to Lana after S2.

Yea, by S2 Willow had Oz. I loved how they slowly intertwined Oz into the series. It as very gradually, and Joss had it planned the whole time.

FX was the first network to actually have reruns with UPN following behind. TNT recieved Angel reruns a little bit thereafter.

Last year they were really bad. Now they are in order with a few exceptions they skip an episode. They are finishing S3 this week.

All the reruns are edited. The Musical is worst to see on reruns because it twice as edited :(.

When it first aired on FX they aired them late-summer, so when Buffy appeared on UPN for the first time. FX aired everything in order, and didnt skip a beat.

They aired up to "Spiral" UPN aired on that same night or that week "Weight of the World" and "The Gift" as a two hour event. UPN and FX planned it for just that one time.

K, you didnt see what Faith did to Angel and Buffy have you?

Buffy had every right to be pissed at Faith because:
-she framed a murder on her
-tried to kill Angel with a slow death
-switch bodies with her
-had sex with her boyfriend Riley inside her body
-tried to kill her mother
-tried to kill Willow and Xander

There was lot of history, and Buffy had every right to be pissed. If she wasnt pissed I would be surprised.

After all that she sees her ex-boyfriend cuddled Faith. What you think about the whole situation?

Buffy apologized for her actions as well over in L.A.

Buffy: Look . . . You weren't entirely wrong, what you said in L.A. (she meets his eyes) We don't live in each other's worlds anymore. I had no right to barge in on yours and make judgments.

Buffy and Angel are Romeo and Juilet more or less. They have a high romantic tension that neither can have, but they want so deeply. It's highly poetic in that they both need each other times, but have to move on, but they always constantly end up coming back to one another like in The Chosen.

VersesBatman
06-29-2005, 05:14 PM
This sounds weird, but it's like the SV writers are afraid of something. Afraid to take risks, afraid to show their main characters flawed, afraid to show them acknowledging when they are wrong.

Relationships are sometimes like that, and they dont live in each other's world anymore. That is definitley true.

Can you imagine if they keep the relationship constant? It would be boring. That was the whole point to S3 with. It was a transition, and acknowledgement that it cant be done. It showed them, and the audience.

At least they did have one perfect day in "I Will Remember You". I love when Buffy kisses Angel in the sunlight :).

Separating them was a very smart decision. It progressed them even further.

"Santuary" also reinforces the theme of darkness within Buffy as well. She didnt want to acknowledge that whatsoever. It took her two seasons to accept it.

BtVS fans were worried if it would affect the storyline that was happening now. Before "I Will Remember You" aired Joss said it wouldnt effect it. And it showed the scarfices Angel makes. I couldnt help, but cry when Buffy saying "I wont forget" over and over again.

Faith is really the only person that really was allowed to effect both shows since it was mid-season.

In the novels Immortal sent Andrew to do that mission, and Buffy was shocked to hear Spike alive. And pissed she didnt know her guys were here.

Yup, S3 "Helpless"

Xander: You know, maybe we're on the wrong track with the whole spell, curse and whammy thing. Maybe what we should be looking for is something like, um, (ahem) Slayer kryptonite.

Oz: Faulty metaphor. Kryptonite kills.

Xander: You're assuming I meant the green kryptonite. I was referring, of course, to the red kryptonite, which drains Superman of his powers.

Oz: (thinks) Wrong. The gold kryptonite's the power-sucker. The red kryptonite mutates Superman into some sort of weird...

I love the Xander and Anya relationship. In the beginning, there was an uncertainly and cluelessness to it that evolved into a strong romance. No, your right. I misread your post I didnt notice "Cordy". Yea, your right she was saying there should be different laws for Buffy like Superman.

And Willow replies "yea, in a Facist society".

Another strong motivation that made Xander's character stronger. He kind of took on the role of caretaker of the group near the end if you think about it.

He's more the heart. He went into that role as the seasons went on more and more. In S4 is when it became really obivious.

He's not called the Heart for nothing in S4's "Primeval". Each Scooby was important, and the reason why they would win their battles because of what each one brought to the group.

People call him The Seer now since Dawn called him that in "Potential".

Buffy was more the caretaker at the end of the show.

EVERYONE WHO IS RECIEVING OZ THE SERIES -- EPISODE TWO WILL BE LATE!

Why am I running behind on this fan series?

I've been dealing with two or three other projects on the side, but it should be in early next week with the back-up story involving an old Buffy character returning to the mythology.

No problem. I'm running behind thanks to the backstory and the slash stuff I'm writing on the Passions (Lois/Lana) thread in the Adult Section.

When college starts back next semester, I'll probably just two-three episodes at a time instead of just one -- kind of like Special Events.

Seth Green and Aly both appeared on THE 70'S SHOW. Both in different seasons. Seth did 3 episodes and Aly did one.

I'd love to see Seth come back and take over the lead character's role since Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher are leaving the series. Even though he's doing Greg the Bunny again for a new network.

I know it's not directly Buffy, but hey who can blame me.

Yea, but they didn't mention Connor at all which is really weird. Just because they explain everything else.

John, all they said the first comic arc really wouldnt go into detail of what happened in Not Fade Away. Angel may talk about him in the next four issues though.

I found this cool link of Buffy's presentation video that was used to show Buffy. Its the unaired pilot called today. Its just quotes and screencaps of the unaired pilot.

Sarah's hair is really dark here. She still looks like her character Kendall Hart from All My Children.

That one guy who plays Principla Flutie I seen him in other things from films to movies. Julie Benz looks young as well. They even show the first version of the vampire make-up.

Sure. I thought it was neat.

Oh, I never seen that guy before. Julie Benz, does look very young in that picture. I didn't see the vampire make-up yet. *goes to check it out*
