You can tell Im a hardcore Die-Hard Fan when I post something like this.
With all the pollution and green house gasses we put into the air, theoretically shouldnt clarks powers get weaker, of course it will take thousands of years. Since Clarks powers come from the sun, as we block out more of the sun he should get weaker. Also assuming we destroy the ozone layer maybe that will make him stronger. Any comments.

Clark has been known to visit the sun for an energy boost. And yup, this stuff sometimes gets addressed in comics. There have been post-apocalyptic stories with Superman as a crippled old man resembling Santa in a cape. Frank Miller had Clark withering away because of a nuclear winter caused by an unusual sort of EMP. Even Smallville dealt with sunspots affecting Clark's abilities. But it behooves one to be careful about fixing the world's problems head-on in a Superman story; Christopher Reeve (bless his soul) gave that a shot in Superman IV.

Yes your right but in Smallville he doesnt visit the sun. The Only time Clark in Smallville has been to the sun is when the Martian Manhunter took him there when he died. Martian Manhunter in return lost his powers. Clark cant goto the sun cause he cant fly yet of course. Also theres been plenty of episodes that clark fought someone in the dark and there wasnt any apparent weakening on his part which should of been.
