Would you want to live in Smallville/Metropolis?

If you grew up there, would you leave it? If you lived elsewhere, would you be willing to move there?



Sure, if you live there then there is always the possibility that you might accidentally drink some kryptonite-flavored water and develop some awesome superpower as a result. Even with that temptation, I think I would still be more turned-away by the ubiquitousness of the psycho-killers that live there and who themselves are superpowered.

I would just steer clear of those 2 towns for my entire life. If I grew up in either place, I would get the hell-outta-there as soon as I could.

I would love to live there! It would be scary, yes, but quite exciting. Where I live, nothing exciting ever happens. Plus, I could hang out with Chloe!

I can see why you wouldn't want to live there, though. There are many psycho-killers.

I'd probably live in Smallville. If I did drink Kryptonite water, or got affected by one of the meteors, I guess my power would be to cause huge earthquakes. But then, I'd probably act all protective towards people. But I wouldn't hesitate to drop by the Talon, for an awesome cup of cappuccino there. Plus, I'd probably be Clark Kent's little sidekick, and wouldn't pressure him to elaborate his deep secrets with me. Also, hanging around Lois Lane and Chloe Sullivan, would be absolutely awesome!! :D

On the plus side, with all the wide destruction that occurs on a regular basis there, property values are probably really low and you could find a good place to live for little money.

If I had kids though that were young teenagers, I would homeschool them instead of sending them to Smallville High (that was the name of the high school, yes?). On an almost weekly basis there is some new meteor-freak showing up to wreak havoc on everyone. That is just not a safe school for kids!
