Well with this and some NBC exec saying heroes was doing well at 8 seems to be good news plus if Chuck keeps good ratings we might have yet another year of the Chuck Heroes combo

I hope it comes back with a good season so it can redeem itself from the awfulness of season 4. Hey! don't hate just my tuppence worth :\

This season was nowhere near as bad as Volume 3 turned out to be. I am waiting for the final episode to reserve judgement on this season. It has been good, not great. I preferred volume 4 since it actually dealt with real issues which shows like Heroes should do. Unfortunately, we live in a world where any moron with agenda can blog about how liberal the show is.

I hope we get a season 5... Sylar still fascinates me and I want to see him get his moment of redemption and then have to deal with it. Plus, I've been a Peter Petrelli fan since the first episode... I want to know where he and his "friendship" with Sylar goes from this this point on.

I can't wait for Monday....

At some point Sylar will go back to being evil. But maybe he will help Peter hold onto more than one power at a time.

This seems to me that this is rolling over to the future that Future Peter tried to stop. Sam is still alive and with that the world is in danger still. Especially now that Claire exposed them all do you guys not think that there will be a want for abilities by the local populace? I firmly believe that the catalyst is still out there and it will be made available to people and force the future that future peter was trying to stop.

After watching the finale, I do think it ranks somewhere in the top two or three seasons of the show. Nothing is really going to top Season One. I do think all the futures we have seen are gone. Five years gone is almost upon us and there is no way that is going to happen. Even people having powers in the future is out the window. The whole catalyst arc was stupid and we will never see it again. Any time a show goes into the future minus a few here and there, it gets fixed in some way. B5 was the only show where they did it multiple times and it never changed.

There could be another catalyst. It has been 18 years since Ishi gave it to Claire. What if another person has the a new catalyst? What if there was someone with an ability to gove normal people abilities?

Its very possible that there could be another special with the ability to give people powers. As far as the catalyst, Hiro took it from Ishi in the past only to have Arthur rip it from him in season 3. But there lies the issue. If the catalyst was truely ripped from Hiro how the hell did he heal this season from his tumor?

I do believe that the future that was presented in season 3 has not been averted. All the indicators are still there. In season 3 where both Peters went there we were shown a world being torn asunder. With the ending of this season we saw that Samuel was still in fact alive. Then you also have to note what Noah was telling Claire. Things change but people do not. With that being sad it is human nature to harness new weapons IE special abilities. When that happens everyone will be a special and Samuel will get exponentially stronger all over again.

These are all just thoughts and guesses. Like always, if you guys can find a loop hole that I must have missed that would cause my prediction to be completely false please do share :)

I don't get the connection between the catalyst being ripped from Hiro and his mother healing him?

Ok lemme explain. The catalyst is supposedly something that can fix things so to speak. IE fixed the broken part of the formula to allow consumption and manifestation of abilities. Now when Hiro's mom supposedly healed him he was unconscious and pretty much going through a trial that he has setup himself over the doubts that he had when it came to screwing around the time line. Mind you this was all in his mind. The scenes outside of his mind clearly showed him on an operating table and even after the ordeal it showed him waking up next to Ando. So with that said, how could a thought about his mother have healed his tumor? The only true explaination would be the fact that the catalyst has not in fact been ripped from Hiro but perhaps Arthur replicated it and "turned it off" from within Hiro. Thats my explanation at least.

I was talking about when his mother healed him when Hiro went to the past and had lost his memories. Not when he had the tumor.
