Just to be sure... are we on C?Yes. :)
Too tired to think very hard, but I'll start...
What Clark does the very first time we hear a reference to a relationship between the man of steel and Lois.
Christian name of a recurring guest: Claire (Foster)
A common early season location. Crater Lake? (not sure it counts as common...)
skully
01-09-2010, 11:58 PM
Claire and Crater Lake are OK (was thinking Cemetery).
The first one was actually part of a Quiz question asked by xray a good while back. When do we first hear a reference to a relationship between The Man of Steel and Lois Lane?
HeroesUnlimited
01-10-2010, 11:56 AM
Just to be clear, this is the scene between Clark and Lana when Clark indicates that lois is "rude and bossy", right?

I think I remember that question - it was unusually devious! :) Wasn't it in Splinter when Clark was in the truck and was listening to "Superman" by Stereophonics? He crashes the truck just before there is a reference to Lois Lane in the song.
skully
01-10-2010, 01:31 PM
That's the one, MrsK. The Stereophonics song Superman has the lyric "Superman on an aeroplane, sitting next to Lois Lane." And it was playing when the black truck caused Clark to Crash the Kent truck in Splinter.
Well done. D is all yours. :)
Letter D:

skully

Just to be clear, this is the scene between Clark and Lana when Clark indicates that lois is "rude and bossy", right?Sorry, missed this HU. No, as you can see from MrsK's answer, the very first time a connection between Superman ("The Man of Steel") and Lois Lane is mentioned is in the Stereophonics song Superman in Splinter. Your reference is more about an alleged connection between Clark (Lana certainly had no clue he was the Man of Steel at that point) and Lois as seen at the Caves in Gone.

Letter D:

Hmm.
Dust (green-K dust to be precise) which Chloe saw on the Bomb Squad guy's jacket in Nemesis
Drugs - in relation to football?
Diamond-fencing - the dude in the limo in Idol.
I'll understand if you deny any of those, MrsK. :D
I suppose those will work.
I was thinking of the Deed that led Lex to Lionel in Action, the DNA test he faked in Lineage, and Drawing - that Maddie was good at

Oliver "lived" in this place when he was a main. I say he "lived" there because that's where we saw him most of the time.

04-29-2010, 01:04 AM
I'll pay those, sjm.
I was actually thinking of Alcatraz but the word Australia is mentioned just twice in the series (once as "South Australia") and it was sort of seen in the crater satellite shot of Raya that Chloe obtained and showed Clark at the end of Reunion.
There was also Alec Abrams (Warrior) as a powered one epi guest.
And Ozzie's snorted fire ants was the insect I had in mind. :)
Well done - you're up with B.
super_j_man
04-29-2010, 03:00 AM
I'll be honest, total guess on the ants (the only insect I could think of that begins with A) and I knew the Australia reference I just wasn't sure if that's what you meant by isolated.
Letter B:
Someone involved with one of Lex's projects
3 episodes each from a different season
a recurring location
skully
04-29-2010, 03:18 AM
I'm honored that you would think Australia "famous". :D

China - correct
Chloroform - correct
super_j_man
04-29-2010, 04:49 PM
Hold on................so there's a Central Kansas A&M and a Central Kansas University??
I would have never caught the difference in a million years!
skully
04-29-2010, 04:52 PM
I think CKA&M and CKU are the same thing, sjm. But both references are used in the series.
super_j_man
04-29-2010, 04:56 PM
I'm totally confused now
Oh well, that means it's mine turn right? :\
skully
04-29-2010, 05:00 PM
No, we still need the University starting with C that's mentioned once in the series. It's not CKA&M or CKU.
super_j_man
04-29-2010, 05:05 PM
??? (central kansas has been mentioned more than once and seen) - not CKU - mentioned once in relation to the qualifications of a one epi guest.

Letter D:
-a special day
-a smallville director
-someone who faked their death
??
Stephen DeKnight
?? Duncan? - not sure, because Lionel is actually the one who faked the death; Duncan was in a coma...
skully
04-30-2010, 01:01 PM
A special Day - Doomsday? :D
Hehehe. That's all I could think of, too! :)
super_j_man
04-30-2010, 02:35 PM
I'm not sure about Doomsday, but I'll be willing to take it. What I was thinking of though was something similar....
I'll accept Stephen DeKnight. I was also thinking of David Barrett. (Run and Lucy)
I don't think Duncan can count since he didn't fake his own death, but rather his survival was covered up by Lionel. The person I'm thinking of appeared in three different episodes (in three different seasons) according to Smallville Wiki.
