Was the 2nd clue when Jimmy and Lois were locked in the DP Cafeteria freezer in Descent?

xrayvision
12-23-2010, 08:21 PM
^^I bet it's ice (Clark did ice skating with Alicia). If it is, then you should go skully since you gave me the idea.

skully
12-23-2010, 09:25 PM
Hehehe, it sure fits, xray. Nice work if so. :)

fantom zoner

You got it. Well done! :). Who's next?

skully
12-24-2010, 12:57 AM
OK, xray handed me the baton after my Descent question tipped him off. :)

Clue 1. Something that could survive a nuclear winter
and
Clue 2. Apparent Chloe psychosis.

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 01:38 AM
I know Clark jokingly said that Jujubes would last a nuclear winter. In reality I know a cockroach would survive one. But I can't figure out the meaning of the 2nd clue. I know Chloe was afraid of going crazy in Scare & started going crazy in Tomb thanks to Gretchen Winters.

skully
12-24-2010, 02:25 AM
You have the right references to get the word, xray.

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 02:31 AM
Is it cockroaches? Or just plain roaches? I think there was a scene in Scare where roaches started coming out of Chloe's mom's mouth.

skully
12-24-2010, 02:43 AM
No it's more about where than what.

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 02:49 AM
Underground? I don't think she was underground in Scare though.

skully
12-24-2010, 02:51 AM
The jujubes reference and the Tomb references are correct. Not underground.

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 02:56 AM
What about box? I don't think Chloe was in one though (she was in Obscura but that's another episode). She was in a tub where she slit her wrists. Then she had the hallucination where she was following the bloody footprints (I think that's what she was following).

skully
12-24-2010, 02:57 AM
Not box. It is certainly associated with a "where". She wasn't in the tub when she slit her wrists. She saw Gretchen in the mirror, screamed and when Lois came in Chloe was sitting on the floor with slit wrists.

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 02:59 AM
So are you saying the location of the box of jujubes has something in common with a location of Chloe's hallucination?

----- Added 1 Minutes later -----

Is it the Talon? I think Mikey said something about going to the Talon with his father.

skully
12-24-2010, 03:17 AM
Yes. Just need a little bit more information. Very warm. :)

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 03:19 AM
The Talon theater?

skully
12-24-2010, 03:25 AM
Yup. "theater" wouldv'e done, but Lana was restoring the Talon theater when Clark made the Jujubes remark. And Mikey used to work in the Talon theater next to his father back when he walled Gretchen up.

Well done, you're up. :)

xrayvision
12-24-2010, 04:25 AM
Thanks. I had to think back about that episode since I didn't watch it too many times.

1. A nickname given to a main.
2. An item owned by a guest.

xrayvision
01-03-2011, 02:50 PM
FZ? skully? Bueller? ;)

skully
01-03-2011, 09:11 PM
Is the main with the nickname current, MS, M/F, ever guest, alive, bearded Clark's age?

Can the item be held and lifted in one hand? A closed fist?

Is it made of hard material?

Is it colorful?

Is it alien, edible, organic, electrical/electronic?

Is the guest that owns it a RG, >2<5, M/F, ever main, powers, alive, incarcerated, Clark's age?

Is it worth much i.e. valuable?

Do we hear the nickname for the first time and see the guest's item before RN's death? ME's? AB's? JK's? Lionel's? Jimmy's?

xrayvision
01-03-2011, 09:17 PM
Current, MS, M, never a guest, alive unbearded, Clark's age.

It can be lifted by 1 hand but not in a closed fist.

It is made of hard materials.

It is colorful.

Not alien, edible, organic (one part may be if it's not synthetic, but I doubt it's not synthetic), or electronic/electric.

The guest that owns it is a 2 episode RG, F, never a main, powers, dead, Clark's age.

Not worth much, unless it's considered valuable by collectors of it. So I'd say no.

The nickname is heard after RN's death but before ME's. The item is seen before RN's death.

skully
01-03-2011, 09:41 PM
Is the nickname bestowed on Clark by a main (current, MS, M/F, ever guest, alive, bearded Clark's age?) or a guest (RG, >2<5, M/F, ever main, powers, alive, incarcerated, Clark's age?)

Is the RG that owns the item Tina Greer?

xrayvision
01-03-2011, 09:43 PM
Given to him by a main (former, MS, M, was a guest, alive, not bearded, Clark's age).

skully
01-03-2011, 09:47 PM
So Pete called Clark this.

Is the RG who owned the item Tina Greer?

xrayvision
01-03-2011, 09:53 PM
Yes it was Pete.

Not Tina.

skully
01-04-2011, 12:28 AM
Is the owner of the item seen in S1 or 2, or later?

Maybe Raya or Casey Brock?

fantom zoner
01-04-2011, 12:34 AM
I was thinking Sasha Goodman. But I can't think of anything that she owns.

xrayvision
01-04-2011, 08:11 AM
FZ is getting a lot warmer with the Sasha Woodman guess.

fantom zoner
01-04-2011, 10:57 AM
When Pete gives him the nickname, are there any other people in the scene? Mains? If so, current, MS, M/F, ever guest, alive, bearded Clark's age?
Guest? RG, >2<5, M/F, ever main, powers, alive, incarcerated, Clark's age?
Does he give him the nickname before Lex's wedding-rehearsal dinner?

xrayvision
01-04-2011, 11:24 AM
Yes, there is a SEG, M, never a main, no powers, alive, not incarcerated (at least not in prison, but may not be free to roam around), very close to Clark's age.

Yes, the name is given before the wedding dinner.

fantom zoner
01-04-2011, 12:31 PM
Is it Sasha? I meant Woodman of course...
All I can think of from Pete is Rocketman, Boyscout and Chick magnet, and I can't think of anything related to Sasha

xrayvision
01-04-2011, 12:33 PM
Yes, it is something Sasha owns.

It's one of the ones you listed.

fantom zoner
01-04-2011, 12:51 PM
Was there a rocket or a magnet in her shed?

xrayvision
01-04-2011, 12:52 PM
No, but there was something with one of those 2 words in her shed.

fantom zoner
01-04-2011, 01:46 PM
Went to watch the actuall show and couldn't find anything. Maybe Skully will know

xrayvision
01-04-2011, 01:50 PM
Check out the scene where Sasha for the first time goes to her shed.

skully
01-04-2011, 11:53 PM
Nah, I can't remember the detail of Sasha's shed in that first scene and I don't have my DVDs with me on hols at the moment.

skully
01-07-2011, 11:42 PM
There doesn't seem to be any takers, xray. You wanna close this one out and post another? :)

xrayvision
01-08-2011, 09:14 AM
FZ told me she'll be away for a few days. I'll just wait until you get back from your trip. Maybe I'll see if MrsK is interested in this game after we spiced it up a bit to give her detective skills a good workout. ;)

skully
01-09-2011, 02:20 AM
Okey dokey. :)

fantom zoner
01-09-2011, 02:57 AM
Hey, sorry for not getting back to you on this. I have looked at that scene twice, and I can't see a thing. If I had to guess, I'd say that there's a rocketman toy somewhere, but I just can't see it.:\ Is that it? If not, I give up. I just don't know

skully
01-12-2011, 11:46 PM
I'll be back home tomorrow and can break out the S1 DVDs. :)

xrayvision
01-13-2011, 02:42 PM
Send me a visitor message once you get back skully.

skully
01-13-2011, 05:57 PM
Is it rocket? As Sasha walks into her shed I think there's a pair of skis with rocket written on them. As FZ has said, Pete called Clark rocket man - during the one-on-one game of basketball Clark was playing very competitively with Lucas Luthor in Prodigal.

xrayvision
01-13-2011, 06:42 PM
It is rocket. But it's not a pair of skis that say rocket on them. It's something else. MrsK would know what since she answered the What Is It I had up not that long ago correctly.

skully
01-13-2011, 06:42 PM
Is it a rocket sled (with wheels)?

xrayvision
01-13-2011, 06:55 PM
Yes, it's a wagon/sled with wheels.

Go ahead since you already got the association right.

skully
01-13-2011, 06:57 PM
OK, another soonish. :)

skully

1. A description by a main of something new.
2. A sarcastic remark by one RG to another.

xrayvision
01-14-2011, 02:11 AM
Is the main current/former? MS/SS? M/F? Alive/dead? Ever a guest? Bearded? How old wrt Clark?

Is the something new a tangible/physical item?

Are the RGs >2 <5? M/F? Alive/dead? Good/misled/evil? Powered? Alien/Meteor freak? Ever a main? Bearded? How old wrt Clark?

skully
01-14-2011, 02:50 AM
The main is current, MS, M, alive, never guest, non-bearded, Clark's age.

The new thing is something physical and tangible.

One RG is >5, M, alive, good, non-powered, human, was a main, non-bearded, a bit older than Clark. The other RG appeared in 5 epis, F, alive, good, powered, probably non-freak, never main, a bit older than Clark.

Hehe. If only I had gotten over to this thread sooner!

New page:

1. A description by Clark of something (physical and tangible) new.
2. A sarcastic remark by Oliver to Dinah.

----- Added 5 Minutes later -----

I'm thinking it is "Italian."

Clark described the new cappuccino maker at the Talon in Heat as looking "very Italian," and when Green Arrow first ran across Black Canary on the roof of the DP, he said, referring to her costume, "I like the look. Italian?"

xrayvision
01-14-2011, 11:56 AM
Wow, that could very well be it.

1. A pop culture reference
2. Something that did not actually apply to the character it was mentioned in reference to

xrayvision
02-14-2011, 11:37 PM
Was the character it was mentioned in reference to a main? If so, MS/SS? Current/former? M/F? Alive/dead? Ever a guest? Alien? Bearded? How old wrt Clark?

Or a guest? RG/SEG? If RG, >2 <5? M/F? Alive/dead? Good/misled/evil? Powered? Freak/metahuman/alien? Comatose? Incarcerated? Ever a main? Bearded? How old wrt Clark?

Is the pop culture being referred to recent or from the 80's-90's or older?

Does Lois or Chloe make the reference?
