Remember back to the start of the season and volume 3? THen after that with constant refrence to the world splitting in 2?
As far as i can tell that version of the future hasn't been prevented, what was shown was that someone with huge power causes the world to seemingly destroy itself and now we have a character who can almost effortlessly destroy large buildings using some kind of terrakenisis.
I not saying its definately him, but i think there is a possibility that Samuel is the big bad for the entire Heroes series.
