Smallville Hangman

I don't think this game is posted yet, so I decided to give it a try.

THE RULES:

1. A name or phrase (maximum of 4 words) is posted in asterisks (***'s).
2. Players guess letters.
3. Correct guesses lead to letters being filled in by the one who posts the puzzle.
4. Since drawing the Hangman would be too complicated, the one who posted the puzzles writes the following words in the following order after every incorrect guess as below (Don't write Incorrect Guess):

Incorrect Guess 1: Base
Incorrect Guess 2: Frame
Incorrect Guess 3: Rope
Incorrect Guess 4: Head
Incorrect Guess 5: Body
Incorrect Guess 6: Left Arm
Incorrect Guess 7: Right Arm
Incorrect Guess 8: Left Leg
Incorrect Guess 9: Right Leg

5. After 9 incorrect guesses, the puzzle is exposed by the person who posted it and the game ends. The same person who posted it posts a new puzzle until it is correctly solved before 9 incorrect guesses.

6. The person posting the puzzle keeps track of the letters guessed so that players know which ones were already guessed.

7. If this turns out to be too easy, we can increase the limit of words in a puzzle later on.

I also always played Hangman starting with the head for the first guess too, but recently played an online version that starts with the base-->frame-->rope... and thought it would work better since it would allow for puzzles with more words & more incorrecy guesses.

Cool. I pass through it usually on the thruway & stopped in a few times. Have you ever been to the Great Bay Clam Company or Sonny & Jeff's? Would you recommend them? What about The Cherry Tomato up in Lake George (not that close to you) on 149? Most of the times that place is closed by the time I get my butt moving and get up there. :lol:

OK. It would be cool if they actually show us Discount Eddie's once. Would be great continuity. Married With Children did that once with a record store Al went to so he could ID a song he heard on the radio. The store was named Final Vinyl and a few years later, he was outside the mall and you could see the exterior of Final Vinyl. Was pretty neat.

Suggestion: I think to make it a little more challenging, we should get rid of the first 3 Hangman parts for the incorrect guesses (the base, frame & rope) and make it like traditional Hangman where the first incorrect guess is the head). That way, 6 incorrect guesses means game over. What does everyone think?
