When Captain Lubbock and Samuel were talking at the carnival I would have had Captain Lubbock see someone use a ability to walk through a wall.

Then Lubbock would say "Did you see that? That guy just walked through that wall"

Lubbock would investigate and not find anything then say "Who ya gonna call?"

Sylar:"So all of you Carnival People are special? ...I wonder how that works..." Sylar then proceeds by killing and taking everyone of the carnies powers.
