I think she's a spy that's why she left her children. That would complete Chuck's destiny as a spy seeing as both his parents are involved in the spy world. That would mean that Chuck's destiny as a spy was predestined in a way. That means that nothing Bryce or Steve would do would prevent Chuck from becoming a spy.

Don't you feel it might be a little bit OTT if both of Chuck's parents were spies? My theory is that Mrs Bartowski struggled to cope with her husband being a spy and left him because she wanted a normal life.

Oh no, I have my suspicions and theories. If both his parents are spies that means his destiny was fate. Think about it some people suspected that Sydney's parents were spies and they were.

Not OTT.

she left him i dont remember but did she stay with Chuck and his sis after the break up? if not then that would explain why she wasnt involved with her kids and i would have to agree that she's a spy also....

I like the theory that Chuck's mum is a high level agent in the ring, because then it would mirror what Jill did to him. (ie. Chucks mum left because she was told to.);)

The show never really explained what happened to Mama Bartowski. Maybe she is a super assassin with powers. Chuck has powers because he is the intersect with kung - fu.

She needs to intimidate Casey. I hated when he was about to kill Chuck.
