I am surprised by the ratings as well. I figured it would be high numbers for the pilot and then rapidly decreasing numbers for the rest of them.

Episode 5 got great ratings, maybe because the guest star? i don't know. Awesome though :D

I'm thinking the guest star and the "Dancing Football team" publicity the week prior.

I'm glad ep 5 got great ratings. It was such a standout episode.

I hope it's at a solid, steady 8M viewers by season end. I think there's a chance FOX will put it on after AI in 2nd half of season.

DVR ratings for glee are also impressive. I can't wait until the show debuts after AI this january.

Both Modern Family and Glee posted mionor growth from one week earlier, while Cougar Town was virtually identical. And both Modern Family and Glee built from their lead-ins, clearly earning their full season renewal stripes.

Can't believe it. Reportedly Glee is hitting season high w/ Fall Finale (Though, my numbers show slightly off high, it's still darn close!).

This will kill after Idol, and even without it it's finding it's audience.
