Nah she's not cheating on him atleast not since Matt's moved in.. Just because Matt said he wont use his power doesn't mean he will mind read her if things looks suspicious. I mean if she really had the guts to cheat on Matt still she has to be very dumb knowing that she knows Matt is a mind reader because before she had a hard time keeping it away from him. Especially since Matt's power has evolved and gotten stronger he'll find out if she's cheating on him whether he likes it or not since Mind reading can sometimes work on impulsive.(peter and matt can sometimes read minds when not trying). I just think it's just a setup plot that the creators came up with so that Matt actually loses faith/trust with his wife and so Sylar pushes that trigger and talks him into finally using his power for bad intentions. Although Matt felt for Sylar's trap it was smart of him to actually use that power instead of reading his mind since that's more invasive.

And to answer your last question I think he can probably paint the future still..
Matt's power I think is very similar to Sylar/Peter I think his power allows him to somehow sort of evolved into using other peoples abilities. For instance after he could mind read he could: Put thoughts into peoples' mind, Illusions, Erase people memories, etc. Unless I'm wrong about this one then I think it's just the writers trying to put the powers back in the show since most of the casts died so they just put it upon Matt (Eden's persuasion, Candice Illusion, the Painter)

I dont think she is cheating, its only Sylar putting the thoughts into his head about it. Although i cant say if i wouldnt do the same thing to that water delivery guy if he was over at my house when im not there. Then he even calls her a single mother, when its obvious Matts there in a relationship with her.

I dont think she will cheat, because it wouldnt make sense plot wise for Sylar to put those thoughts into Parkmans head and have them come true. Matt will lose touch with reality and accuse her of cheating or doing something else, and itll create a rift in the relationship.

Hmm, now that i think about it, this feels a lot like Jack from Lost, the trust issues and paranoia he had with his ex wife and Kate, i hope they dont go too far into it then, or itll feel too similar.

Honestly, ill be very happy if the painting of the future never shows up again, or future characters coming back in time to change things. I think theyre trying to tone down the characters powers (maybe this doesnt apply to Stacy, she could potentially be the one with the most power in the show), so that the villians seem more badass or w/e.

Janice would have to be a special kind of stupid to even think of cheating on Matt knowing that he can read her thoughts. Especially with Wyatt, err I mean the poll guy.:p
