To be honest, I was like many other viewers of heroes who believed all hope was lost and the show was just going to keep falling but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with tonight's premiere. There was suspense, action, drama, and even a little humor with Claire's roommate Annie. I hope the season stays like this and is consistent in providing great and thrilling episodes. Again, I was really happy with the premiere. What did you guys think?

Also I was most impressed with Peter. Even though it seems that he still only has one power at a time, he was really acting like a hero and was taking the initiative. I got this Spiderman vibe from the movies where he has a police scanner and waits for opportunities to save others. He is trying so hard now but he has to realize he can't save everyone.

Aside from Claire repeating old mistakes (using her powers and getting caught in the act) i really enjoyed it. I wasnt happy after last seasons finale but i still watch the show regardless of its mistakes, but this time i finished it and was surprised at how well they made it.

Still not as good as season one but better (at least so far) than most of the other seasons. I just hope 10 episodes from now its of the same quality.

Lets just say that my 14 year old daughter said to me when I 'whooped & hollered' during the show, "Dad, grow up, it is just a show" :p

sad that your child has to tell you that. You could always respond to them with the exact opposite, like hold on to your childhood as long as you can.

I dug it. I thought it was really good.

Is Mohinder gone? We didn't see any of him...he was just referenced.

I thought it was really good. It had season one vibe of people trying to figure where they belong in the world. I think Peter knows about Nathan that is why he is avoiding him. The Carnival people are cool adversaries as well. So far so good.

If Peter knew, he would go ballistic on his mother and HRG for not telling him that his brother died. Peter is avoiding everyone because he is too involved and devoted to saving people. He's becoming obsessed with it so he basically has no time for anyone else.

This season I think is really redemption for the show just like this volume will be for the charecters. I have to say I am proud with all of the powers and I think the story arcs will go through very well.

Usually in every volume even the first I would see that there will be one boring story arc. Volume 1 boring story arc would be mohinders. When I watch the DVDs I am always fastfoward his parts. Volume 2 was nathen parts. Volume 3 had tracey parts and volume 4 only some parts of the government story arc. This Volume I truly can say when I get the DVD i will not be skipping anyone's storyarc.

Peter has a great arc by being a superhero but having a real job doing it. It is normal life but with powers and that is what the show is based on. Nathan story arc who has an amazing arc because HELLO Sylar is in them. I also like Matt's story arc because it seems kinda like the whole niki/jessica arc. I feel the people outside of the charecters mind really would not understand what is going on and it looks like matt or niki in season 1 are crazy but truly it is due because of there powers and that is what makes them different. I love how sylar is kinda trying to come out by making matt use his power. The next arc that I think will bring all the charecters togther is the carnival and I think it is great because this arc will be going into different arcs one way or another. Tracey Strause stoy is good too becuase she seems evil even though she is truly just trying to get her life together and she does not know what to do with her powers. The last arc but defently not the least is Claire's arc which is my favorite. I love how Claire is not dark anymore and she just wants to tell the truth. I also loves the little subarc of annie even though she died in the first episode. I think Gretchen is a great addition to the heroes family and will defently be like Zach in the first season. I just can not wait for the next episode to see how all of these arcs will unfold.

I was quite impressed too. This is the direction they should have gone in S2. Let's hope they maintain this tone and momentum and give us an awesome S5. :D

Since they are now showing us some of the "heroes" being well heroes I hope we get to see the "Rebellion" team from the graphic novels. :)

After the abysmal season finale in May I sweared I would never watch Heroes again. But after reading the comments from the season premiere, I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be quite enjoyable and more in line with season 1.
I don't know where they are going with Robert Knepper's character and the circus stuff, but at least the stories seem better written and easier to follow.
I'm just wondering whether Nathan and Hiro's characters will make it to the end of the season..

Had some decent moments, but like the last season, I just don't think it's going to keep my interest.
