I thought it was pretty good. I voted 10 because it was a good lead in, good quick intro to the new characters without shoving them in our faces and basically good all around to get the season started.

I had high hopes when re-entering the world of Heroes and tonight, they blew my mind away. Everything seemed to flow nicely together and everything moved very quickly instead of slowly lagging along like it did a few times last season. Everything from the comedic scenes concerning Ando and Hiro to the fast paced action scenes/fights that Peter took place in, everything was done perfectly. I have very high expectations of this season and I believe that Heroes will meet them and surpass them!
To everyone, this season is going to be intense!

I didn't watch because I had a night class, but it is good to see those poll results. I gave up on the show last season, but I have to watch the premiere with hopes that this season will be great and bring the show back. :D

I saw all of the 1st hour and maybe half of the 2nd hour but I liked what I saw. I love how Sylar messing with Matt. I wonder if we'll ever get an explanation as to why Claire's roomate killed herself. That seemed like it was a quick conculsion to that mystery. I'll get to see what I missed tomorrow, but judging by what I saw, I'd give it a 10..

Okay I LOVED it. This season looks really promising. Like the twists but is not confusing at all. Simple like season one. I can't wait till next week!

Went 8/10

Loved almost all of it. The Claire parts were a bit boring, i had hoped they would find more for her to do instead of recycling (again) her trying to fit in then having someone discover her power. If they would have done a better job making her important and even relevant to the story then it wouldve been a 10. Dont know if her story will end up interesting but i dont care much either way at this point.

Didnt dislike the Sylar as Nathan parts like i thought i would, and was happy they didnt shove it in our face like i expected. I LOVED the parts of Parkman going crazy with Sylar in his head. Guess i shouldve seen that coming but glad i didnt, it worked very well to add depth to Matts character.

Enjoyed the HRG and Stacy parts, i didnt feel that was forced either. It worried me however that Stacy and HRG might develop a relationship but ill give it the benefit of the doubt so far. HRG and Claire scenes were ok, but nothing new. Oh well.

My favorite parts were definitely with Peter in them. I HOPE he stays this way, wanting to use his powers for good instead of being manipulated. I was worried when HRG showed up asking for help, but Peter held his own and made the rules, instead of being a lapdog. I hope they flesh out his obsession with saving people even more, i can see that being an interesting part of the plot.

Hiro and Ando were ok, i do normally like them, and i didnt find myself disliking their story. Theyre not the reasons i watch the show but i do at least like their scenes.

The new villians/characters all seem interesting and im looking forward with where that heads. I feel optimistic that the story will continue to be interesting, and its already made me forget the last 5 minutes of last seasons finale.

I loved this episdoe and i think this is reall season 1 material. I think these 2 episodes really did give the whole show redemption.

I think "Dark Parkman" coming out will be interesting, he is still my favorite.

It would be so hard to suppress a mental power, and since he really didn't want to merge Nathan into Sylar in the first place, I can understand why it is effecting his Psyche.

The Claire storyline may turnout good if handled properly, her possible nut job new roommate and her could have some interesting moments, she knows what Claire is/can do and from the promo is running a website about here and that can't go over well with Claire.

I almost bet Peter will have some sort of burnout and start looking for other powers that might help more with his crusade of helping people.

One thing I wish they would have done at the beginning is a "Previously On" sort of recap. I have only watched S3 once when it initially aired on TV and that was awhile ago. A small recap would have been nice instead of jumping right in. Overall the two part premiere was pretty good. I like the addition of the new characters at the carnival. Robert Knepper (T-Bag from Prison Break) is always great. So far their intentions aren't easy to read. They seem like honorable characters, however they also seem like they could be evil. Should be interesting to find out. The spin they have put on this season with Hiro dying makes for a suspenseful race against the clock type feel. Hopefully they will manage to find a way out of it though if the show stays on the air. Hiro is one of my favorite characters. Sylar being trapped in Matt's mind is cool too. I wish Peter would regain the ability to take in multiple powers like Sylar can. I miss him with multiple powers and seeing him with just one power sucks. I have to say that a small part of me was happy when they killed off Claire's roommate, because she had to be the most annoying character I have seen in awhile. If I had a roommate like that, I would go nuts.

Overall a pretty solid start to the season.

I stuck through all last season, but hated the finale and swore I was done with the show!! But now you guys are making me think I should give it a shot...man I knew I shouldn't have come in here :p

I agree with Rose you should give it a chance. They're referencing a lot of S1 but seem to be concentrating on not bringing up their previous mistakes hahaha so they're trying hard to push forward with decent story telling again :) I think you'd be pleasantly surprised.

I rather enjoyed it. I feel that a big problem this show might have is that they don't actually plan long-term where their stories are going. Hopefully they have realized they need to try and have a little more continuity now.

That said, I really enjoyed the Sylar/Parkman parts of the show, as well as the Peter parts of the show. Nice to see Peter using his powers. Now if only he'd regain the real power he had originally I'd be a happy duck.

I also enjoyed the Hiro part of the show to an extend. I wasn't overly impressed with the Carnies.

The Bennett storyline is interesting enough. I like Noah's parts at least. I look forward to seeing what happens next with most of these characters.

On the one hand, nothing in it pissed me off like some episodes last season. Nothing was poorly written or made no sense (that i noticed), nothing was badly acted or just plain silly. I was glad they killed of Danko quickly, glad they brought back Tracy and glad to see Claire getting a storyline of her own. I am very excited to see what having Sylar in his head is going to do to Parkman, though i'm slightly dissapointed that he might go dark because he is the one hero left that has stayed on the side of good so far. The new characters where interesting, and i'll enjoy seeing where it's going. I know it's sort of more of the same in that it's people hunting the heroes, but their agenda is seemingly very different.

On the other hand, it was all quite slow. Nothing was exciting. Nothing had me on the edge of my seat. That's what made season 1 amazing... I would watch and episode and by the time it ended my heart would be racing and my head full of questions and i just knew i had to watch another episode. I don't get that feeling here. It's not painful to watch anymore, but it's not that much fun either. In a way it was kind of boring.

Personally I think one of the biggest problems is that the main character hasn't really done much for so long. Peter was the driving force of season 1. It was all about his mission to save new york... and now he's not got the same power, and there's not really much going on with him. He needs a new mission, and I hope it's something to do with his brother Nathan because I loved how much he cared about his brother in early seasons.

Anyway, it wasn't a bad start, and i'm looking forward to seeing where all this goes... I just hope for more Peter screentime :)

Alright Rose and Ginx...I finally watched and I gotta say...you both were totally right! :D So much better than almost all of last season and much better than I expected. I was actually interested again and it held my attention.

I liked the carnies....but I really like Robert Knepper (loved him on Prison Break) and he was great in the episode. Can't wait to see where that story line. Too often the new characters have taken away from the show, but these characters intrigued me.

Also enjoyed Peter and Claire's story lines and so glad Danko is gone (he is gone for good right?)!

Overall, very well done. At first I hated to whole Nathan dying/brainwashing Sylar to be Nathan storyline, but it actually played out much better in the opener than I thought it would. I am still split on whether or not that was a good idea, but at least I have some hope that the storyline will play out in an interesting way.

So I gave it an 8. Far better than I expected (not hard because I had loooow expectations :p). Starting with an 8 with hope that it will continue to get better from here and become the must-see show I loved during S1 :D

I have to admit that I was surprised to see Danko. I thought they'd just leave him behind to fade off into the sunset or something. Then just as I started to think that he just might be useful to The Company, he gets killed off. Sort of took the wind out of my sails a bit. As much as I hated him, I also was intrigued by his character.

Ya i wasnt expecting Danko either, and once he showed up i thought it was interesting they brought him back and that he was still obsessed about finding more people with powers. When he was killed i was surprised, so i dont really know what to think...They really only brought him back to introduce the compass plot.

Great start imo Only but for me was Hiro's storyline....still I'm not sure about that, we'll see. But the others were pretty decent, even Claire's. So far I'm loving Samuel, that actor is awesome and his character is intriguing. I really want to see more of him.
Oh! and finally some justice for Ali Larter. Tracy is becoming the best character of the triplets and she looks very powerful too. Hope they keep her around.
