Summer Glau ("Firefly," "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles") reunites with Joss Whedon when the actress joins the cast of DOLLHOUSE this fall in a recurring role as BENNETT, a Dollhouse employee who shares a past with ECHO (Eliza Dushku). The second season of DOLLHOUSE premieres Friday, Sept. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Additional guest stars appearing throughout the upcoming second season include Alexis Denisof ("Angel"), Jamie Bamber ("Battlestar Galactica"), Michael Hogan ("Battlestar Galactica") and Keith Carradine ("Dexter"). DANIEL PERRIN (Denisof) is a U.S. senator leading a witch hunt to track down the underground organization. Mysterious, charismatic businessman MARTIN KLAR (Bamber) is Echo's new husband. BRADLEY KARRENS (Hogan) comes to the Dollhouse hoping to stop a psychotic family member's killing spree, while MATTHEW HARDING (Carradine), a nemesis of Dollhouse leader ADELLE DEWITT (Olivia Williams), stirs up trouble. Additionally, DR. CLAIRE SAUNDERS/WHISKEY (Amy Acker) and MADELINE/NOVEMBER (Miracle Laurie) return this season in multiple-episode arcs.

DOLLHOUSE is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. The series was created by Joss Whedon, who also serves as executive producer, writer and director. Tim Minear and David Solomon are executive producers, while Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas are co-executive producers. Additionally, series star Eliza Dushku serves as a producer.

Ugh It still stings that Terminator got canceled. I'm happy that she found work so quickly though. I never could get into Dollhouse though so I'm not totally sure if I will watch and forgive Fox for canceling one of the best shows on TV.

It is too bad that Terminator got canceled but I am happy to see Summer Glau confirmed to be part of Dollhouse, not to mention Alexis Denisof ;).

Amy Acker I think has signed on to do three episodes this season. She won't be a series regular yet, because she is contracted to the new ABC show "Happy Town".

Oh HELL YA!!! I think it was the best move for all parties involved. I hope Summer's character does whined up to be a sister/half sister of Echo.

Are they trying to slowly resurrect the Buffy/Angel crew;):cool:. We have Eliza, Amy and now Alexis....who's next?

We've had Felicia Day in the 13th episode, who was also a vampire slayer.

Apparently Felicia day could be back in season 2, not via flashback. Which would be pretty cool. I really like her.

I think the ultimate guest star would be Sarah Michelle Gellar but that is highly unlikely to ever happen. *pouts*

Joss has said that he wants to start introducing the charcters for epitath one into the Dollhouse universe this year. He hinted that Felicia Day would be in at least a few shows but no word on how. I think that having Summer in the show should be a good test of her acting abilities while I liked her in Firefly and Terminator it will be intresting to see what she can do with this role. Joss has already said that she will not be an active so I doubt that she will have a direct connection to echo.

Sarah Gellar and Joss have not had the best relationship recently aparently it had somthing to do with the final season of Angle were she said she would only do the finale. I really don't see her in dollhouse because on her acting carrer has not been good of late who would have thought that of the Buff alumni she would have had the arguably least scusses after the show ended

Apparently she was having relationship troubles because she'd have to kiss Spike or something, so if she only came in for the finale I can see how that might've worked for her...

From what I remember she was going to be in the Girl in Question then backed out thats why that episode had to be rewritten, she sighted a shedual conflict but said she was willing to do the finale. Joss offered the second to last episode but she refused. There was some stuff before that in season 6 of Buffy Sarah called Joss out on what she felt was a sup-par year for her charcter and Joss mentioned in an interview that "certian actresses were becoming difficult"

Nicmar, Buffy never showed up in the Angel finale though... maybe that is why there's some bad blood... don't get me wrong, I like SMG, but she always seemed a bit moody or something when dealing with the show... Who knows.

And it will be good to see Summer acting... most of her roles she acts pretty vacant. :lol:

TSC.

And hopefully Summer will be able to share screen with Eliza Dushku.As long as she doesn't get another show Summer should appear occassionly
after she Is Introduced.

As for Felicy Day last word Is she and Aidar Tishler will return for episode 13 the last of the season If Fox doesn't give a full 22 episode order for
DollHouse.

Now that Dollhouse is being canned soon hopefully that will free up Summer for any possible TERMINATOR re-launch on DVD.A man can dream,can`t he?
