I think I probably need to re-watch Relic. I think my opinion might've been a little biased by my love of Chloe and general dislike of Lana around that time in the series.

One season Main Davis, most definitely! I could sympathize with him more, I thought his character made things more interesting, he had great chemistry with Chloe, and tension with Clark, and was a pretty major threat.

Black Kryptonite. Silver turned Clark crazy and was... kinda dumb, I thought. At least, how it was done. I find black kryptonite more interesting, splitting someone into two separate versions of them-self. Makes me wonder if when used, there could be more than two splits. One for each of your distinctly separate personalities. That would be cool to see.

Lionel S1-4 (basically evil, manipulative, conniving) or Lionel S5-7 (a changed man, working to protect Clark, but still doing some bad things to do so)? I'm not exactly sure where the split is, because I remember him being changed during S4. Was it after the Transference with Clark, or did he not actually change until S5 and the emissary thing? I haven't seen S4 in a long time, so I'm not sure on this.

S1-4 Lionel, I guess, 'cause he always kept me guessing what trap he was going to spring next! To me, he was way more threatening than Lex ever proved to be.

I haven't seen Blank in so long.... but I have to go with Abyss. Just watched it again last night and man I love that episode. Blank was played more as comedy, as I remember, and Abyss was certainly not. Allison played that so well. And I loooove the end with James Marsters' voice. "Doomsday is coming."

As a villain: Zod, or Doomsday? This could obviously change with S9 coming, but decide from what we have already had from Zod.

If you'd said DAVIS or Zod, I would've picked Davis, 'cause I thought he was a seriously interesting character. But if it's Doomsday vs. Zod, I'll have to go with Zod. He's already been a serious threat, almost taking out the city of Metropolis (and half the world) at the end of Season 5. Doomsday got K.O.'d after a 2-minute battle! :p

Just wanted to say about earlier answers. See, I found MR's performance not too far from how he would just play serious, evil Lex. Erica made a distinctly different character.

And I would choose black suited Clark, too. I love when things are darker... and Tom looks good in darker tones. Just wish his trench coat was more... Spike's duster coat, instead of... looking like a business trench coat.

I love Lana too. :D And that fight in Bulletproof was great. I actually hate the Lois/Tess one in Doomsday. Was Less skill, more.... cat fight. Blah.

And I have to agree about Lana leaving in Requiem. That scene at the end between Kristin and Tom... wow. Wonderful acting. Arctic... eh. Tom showed a moment of emotion, then bam. Was gone.

Fortress death for Lex. That other one... wasn't Lex. And we know he's not dead, but still.
