What is the carnivale really?

In the preview video Samuel says that one by one they will all come back and shows him holding a compass. The preview video shows Peter holding a compass the spins wildly out of control. Maybe the carnivale will be a organization that will be traced back to how everybody first got abilites in the first place.:confused:

Well the most obvious thing is that it seems to be the home or quarters of this new group of gifted people. It seems as if Samuel (Robert Knepper) wants to have all of the heroes come to the carnival for some reason and he seems like a malevolent character hides that with a harmless outer appearance.

Maybe they consist of level 5 escapees that were never caught.

I think the carnival are people who want to make like a community of powered people.

Adam had powers WAY back so they couldn't have started in a carnival.
Unless they sent him back to that time cuz he was a pain but when he first was shown he didn't know he had powers?

The Brotherhood is the equal and opposite of the X-Men. I just hope the mystery around them lasts a bit longer and is a really good reason. My theory is that they are a splinter group of people who were in the camps with the founding members of the company. They became a carnival to hide in plain sight from the government and wandered the planet looking for similar people to build a secret community. Samuel seems to be using a rather peaceful people to avenge himself on the human race or at least certain people.

I'm not enjoying the whole carnival story line. But i will be patient and see how the story play out

It just seems like the Carnivale is a group of superhumans, probably gathered together by Sam and his brother, they seem a little cult like with the we're family stuff and when one of them dies Sam gets somebody with a similar power to replace them, he wants Hiro to replace the old time traverler and his wanting Peter leads me to believe his brother was an empath so Peter will replace him, and that is why other members of the group are familiar with the term and power.
