Is the same actor who played Lex in the Reunion flashbacks playing Alexander next week?
skully
02-06-2011, 01:19 PM
Can they be lifted with 1 hand? Or fit in a closed fit?
Can they be used as weapons or would that be a bizarre way to use them?
Are they functional or decorative? Colorful?
Are they alive or non-living? Or were they once alive?
Do any mains or guests own them?
Are they expensive? Are they alien?
Are they made of metal, wood, plastic, rubber, glass, paper, stone/mineral, ceramic, cardboard, clay/mud, gem, porcelain, fabric, liquid, or some non-mentioned type of organic material/substance?Singularly they can be lifted in one hand but more than one would be difficult. They would not fit in a closed fist.
They are unlikely to be used as weapons. It would be bizarre to use them as such.
They can be functional but not decorative.
They are not colorful.
They are a living thing.
One version is owned by a main.
They are not expensive or alien.
They are not any of those substance but are organic.
Are the mentioners mains or guests? If mains, are they current, MS, M/F, ever guest, alive, bearded, human, Clark's age?
If guests, are they SEG or RG? >2, <5? M/F? ever main? alive? incarcerated? comatose? human? powers? Clark's age?
They are mentioned (in no particular order) by:
A former main, MS, M, was a guest, dead, non-bearded, human, a bit older than Clark.
A current main, MS, M, was a guest, alive, non-bearded, human, a bit older than Clark.
A current main, F, was a guest, alive, non-bearded, human, no powers, a little older than Clark.
A SEG, F, never main, dead, human, no powers, older than Clark.
A SEG, M, never main, alive, not incarcerated, awake, human, no powers, older than Clark.
A RG, >2<5, M, never main, alive, comatose, human, no powers, older than Clark.
A RG, >2<5, F, never main, dead, human, no powers, older than Clark.
Is the same actor who played Lex in the Reunion flashbacks playing Alexander next week?Yes. Lucas Grabeel.

I hope Wayne Dalglish who played young Lex in Memoria also plays Alexander once. Though he's younger than Lucas. It would have been great had Wayne played him next week & Lucas played the final stage Alexander before MR (if MR returns, which will put a huge smile on my face since I sorely miss his presence on the show).
So they are mentioned (in no particular order) by:
Lex.
Oliver.
Lois.
A SEG, F, never main, dead, human, no powers, older than Clark.
A SEG, M, never main, alive, not incarcerated, awake, human, no powers, older than Clark.
Dr. Garner?
Claire Foster? Amanda Waller? Lillian Luthor?

I agree. Lucas is supposed to appear again, I believe, so in theory they could have done that.

Did the one who went to jail go there a long time before the episode they were seen or recently?
Do all of you share a common activity? Profession? Meteor power? Species/race?
Did Clark find out about the something bad that one of you did? Was that something bad seen in an episode, or is it part of the character's history?
Is the one who got sent to jail the same one who did something bad? If not, did the person who got sent to jail deserve to go to jail or were they framed?
The one who went to jail was there long before the ep.
No, no common activity or profession, nor meteor power. We are all human.
Yes Clark found out about the something bad. It was seen in the ep.

Profession.
Yes, definitely deserved. We don't see the arrest but we do see the person being apprehended. I don't think we see them in jail.
The one who was killed was not killed by a meteor freak. Intentionally by the episode's main villain.
The one who was attacked was physically attacked.
No, they're all seen in seperate episodes.

Chloe mentioned to Clark that Leonard Wallace "was gunned down two weeks ago" at the Torch in Extinction. He was killed by Van McNulty using Chloe's suspected freaks list as a guide.
Hmm, several other mechanics have also died. Jeremy Creek killed Frank the ex-Jock in Pilot and Evan accidentally killed Tanner Sutherland in Ageless.
xrayvision
02-13-2011, 09:48 PM
Yes, they're mechanics.
I was referring to Mr. Wallace (I forgot his first name was given), the ex-jock that Jeremy put in a coma (I don't think he killed him based on Chloe's dialogue), and Masterson, who was also a mechanic given the tow truck Nathan, his accomplice drove and the garage where Pete was kept in Whisper.
skully
02-13-2011, 09:55 PM
Yeah, you're right about Frank, the mechanic in Pilot. It isn't sure that he was killed but I don't think Chloe said he was in a coma (she did mention shortly after the 3rd ex-jock is electrocuted that Jeremy was in a coma for 12 years). I just assumed because Jeremy shot a few thousand volts through him he was fried. But Wiki seems to think all 3 jocks were only put in comas.
Actually, Clark said "And now he's back in Smallville, putting former jocks into comas. Why?"
Okey dokes. Another soon. :)

The mains are current, MS, F, alive, was a guest, non-bearded, human, slightly older than Clark, and current, MS, M, alive, never guest, non-bearded, alien, Clark's age.
The guest is SEG, M, alive, misled, powered temporarily, freak, not comatose, not incarcerated, never main, non-bearded, Clark's age.
The assailant main is SS, former, M, dead, was a guest, non-bearded, human, a bit older than Clark.
The kidnapper is SEG, M, dead, evil, non-powered, human, never main, non-bearded, quite a bit older than Clark.
The changer is not a person.
Recapping:
One was assaulted by a main (Whitney?)
One was kidnapped by a guest who was the main villain of the ep (SEG, M, dead, evil, non-powered, human, never main, non-bearded, quite a bit older than Clark.)
One was changed by something.
Two are mains (Lois and Clark) and one is a SEG, M, alive, misled, powered temporarily, freak, not comatose, not incarcerated, never main, non-bearded, Clark's age.

The other main is former, MS, M, was a guest, dead, not bearded, human, a bit older than Clark.
They can be held and lifted in one hand if compacted enough, but that may be hard to do. They definitely won't fit in a closed fist.
They are made of a rather soft material.
They are not alien, edible, organic (I'm pretty sure they're not organic since these days they wouldn't be), or electrical/electronic.
They can be worn, but that would be a very odd thing to do.
Some of them are colorful.
They are functional.
They could be seen in a residence or a medical facility. A different form of them could be seen in an office or place of business, but in these days they would probably be replaced with something else. A different form of them can be seen in certain places of recreation or entertainment.
We see all of the ones referred to in the clues in Smallville. 2 of them at common series locations, 1 of them at a single episode location. All indoors. 1 during the day & the other 2 at night.
We see them 1 after Roger Nixon’s death & before Morgan Edge's and the other 2 after Morgan Edge's death & before Alicia’s.
I should also mention that besides the ones mentioned in the clues, we do see other versions of the same type of "them" in the series.

So Clark and Lex both handle versions of them.
Are they made of fabric/cloth, paper, cardboard, soft plastic, gel, foam/sponge, styrofoam, rubber? I presume they are not liquid or gas?
Are the common series locations the farm? The mansion? SV High? The Talon? SMC?

Clark handled one at the farm in Gone when Lois barged in on him after the helicopter incident, Lana was nearly choked with one by Tim Westcott at the Talon apartment in Pariah. Lex pulled a curtain back in the Paul Hayden's motel bathroom in Precipice and found Meacham's body.

Yes the someone is a main. Current, MS, M, never guest, alive, non-bearded, alien, Clark's age.
2 of the dead characters mains. One is former, MS, M, was a guest, non-bearded, human, a bit older than Clark. The other is former, MS, M, was a guest, non-bearded, human, much older than Clark.
They can't be held nor lifted in one hand.
The majority of their composition is made of hard material.
They are not alien, edible, or organic. One version of them is electrical/electronic.
They can't be worn nor were they designed to be.
They are not colorful.
They're functional.
They could be seen in a residence, an office/place of business, a place of recreation or entertainment, or a medical facility.

Former, MS, F, alive, was a guest, non-bearded, human, Clark's age.
Former, MS, M, dead, was a guest, non-bearded, human, a bit older than Clark.
They are generally made of wood.
Individually they aren't that expensive. They are not colorful. They are functional. They are not alien or electrical/electronic.
They are not weapons and can't be used as such.
In their normal form they cannot be lifted with one hand nor held in a closed fist but individually they could be.
Individually they are smaller than a mug. In their normal multiple form, they occupy about the area of a chair, maybe slightly more.
They would be purchased at a store.
They would normally be found in a residence, amongst other places. It would have to be a specific workplace for them to be found there.
They are seen at a common series location in Smallville, and in some single episode locations in Smallville and Metropolis.

Outstanding Questions:
Do they share an occupation? A race? A pastime? The fact that they were all attacked? By someone in particular?
New Questions:
Is one of you Tina Greer?
Did the one who survive withstand a shooting? Stabbing? Being hit by a car? A natural disaster?
Does the thing you share in common involve Clark?
They do not share an occupation, nor the fact that they were all attacked.
They are all human - all caucasian, actually, but that isn't the thing that connects them in this case. Not that they were all attacked. They do share a pastime.
One is Tina.
The one who survived did not withstand a shooting, stabbing, being hit by a car, or a natural disaster.
What we have in common does not involve Clark.

Are any of the mentioners non-mains?Yes, two of the mentioners are non-mains.

Would they be carried around a lot?
The two guests who mention them are they RGs - >2<5, M/F, ever main, powers, alive, incarcerated, comatose, human, Clark’s age?

They could be. At least 2 of the specific items on the show were carried around a lot.
The guests that mention them are:
- RG, 2 eps, F, never main, powers, alive, not incarcerated, not comatose, human, a little older than Clark.
- SEG, M, never main, no powers, alive, not incarcerated, not comatose, human, a lot older than Clark.

smallville84

Can they be held and lifted in one hand?
Are they made of hard material?
Are they alien, edible or organic?
Can they be worn? Designed to be?
Are they colorful?
Are they functional or decorative?
Would they be seen in a residence? An office or place of business? A place of recreational or entertainment? A medical facility?
Do we see them in Smallville? Metropolis? At or near a common series location? Indoors? Day or night?
Do we see them before or after Roger Nixon’s death? Morgan Edge's? Alicia’s? Jonathan's? Lionel's? Jimmy’s? Old Lex clone’s?
I wonder if we should go on to a new question here since SV84 seems to be MIA lately. What do you think?

Some can be held lifted in one hand.
They are not made of hard material.
They are not alien, edible, or organic.
They are usually not colorful. Some have little or no color. Others have one color usually dark.
Can't be worn or designed to be.
They can be functional.
They could be seen at any of those places, more likely a medical facility.
We don't see all of them. One of them is seen in Smallville at a recurring location, indoors during the day. After Alicia's before Jonathan's.

Not made of any of those things.
None of those places.
Welcome back, smallville84! :)
Do they have any moving parts?
Is the something they helped Clark find important to the plot? Are they a clue? Did they remind him of something?
When we see the one you referred to, are any mains in the scene? Current? MS? M/F? Ever guests? alive? bearded? human? Clark's age?
Is the recurring location SV High? The caves? Somewhere less common?

Thanks
They do not have moving parts.
Yes the something is important to the plot. They wasn't a clue in Clark's case, but many of them can be clues. They didn't remind Clark of anything.
Two mains. Current, MS, M, never a guest, alive, not bearded, not human, Clark's age.
and Current, MS, F, never a guest, alive, not bearded, human, Clark's age.
Not Smallville high or the caves. less common.

So Clark and Chloe were present.
Are they seen at the LuthorCorp plant?
I'm thinking fingerprints (the one Chloe used to open the vault in Level 3 in Mortal) but they are organic and we did them fairly recently. :)

Who are "they"?
Do they share a name? A profession? A physical characteristic?
Are they male or female?
skully
04-05-2011, 02:04 PM
They share a profession. They are all male.
Do they all work in the same place or for the same person?
Do they wear a uniform to work?
Are they seen in multiple seasons? Consecutive seasons?
skully
04-05-2011, 04:58 PM
Each worked in a similar place but not necessarily exactly the same.
Yes, they usually wear a uniform.
They are seen in multiple season. 2 are in consecutive seasons.
Does the uniform clearly identify the profession?
Is it a profession that requires a college education? Post-graduate education?
Is it an occupation that is primarily practiced by males?
Are they Clark's age? Older or younger?
skully
04-05-2011, 07:59 PM
The uniform fairly clearly identifies the profession.
College education.
Males would be more common but female versions are not uncommon.
The 3 "theys" referred to are all a fair bit older than Clark.
Are any of them seen, or are they only referred to?
Are any of them referred to by name?

Who are "they"?
Is the iconic one the one referred to by name?
Do they work in any of the following fields: law, law enforcement, government, medicine, military, education, science?
Was the one who was bribed bribed by a main? (current? ms? M/f? ever a guest? human? bearded? Clark's age?)
Do we see the death of the one who was killed, or just hear about it?
Was the killer the main villain of the ep? Someone with powers?
Who refers to the one by name? A main (current? ms? M/f? ever a guest? human? bearded? Clark's age?)? Or a guest (RG? >2, <5? M/F? Ever a main? Alive? Powers? Incarcerated? Comatose? Clark's age?)?
skully
04-11-2011, 02:18 PM
No, the iconic one is not referred to by name.
None of those fields.
Yes, a main bribed one. The main is current, MS, F, never guest, human, non-bearded, a bit older than Clark. [shouldn't take long now. :)]
We see the death of the killed one. You could say the killer was the main villain of the ep. The killer did not have powers.
A main (same as above) refers to one by name.
So Tess bribed one and referred to one by name. Okay. Gotta go fix dinner. Back in a bit.
Tess bribed an airline pilot in Turbulence... Is that what "they" are?

04-11-2011, 07:41 PM
They are indeed Pilots. Well done, MrsK. You're up. :)
Okay. :) Another later today.

They are not living things.
They an be held and lifted with one hand.
They are not made of hard material.
They are not alien, edible, organic, or electronic/electric.
They are designed to be worn.
They can be colorful.
They are more decorative than functional.
They could be seen in any of those places if the wearer was there.
We see them in both Smallville and in Metropolis - at multiple locations, common and uncommon, day and night, indoors and outdoors.
Off the top of my head... one is seen after one is seen after Morgan Edge's death and before Alicia's; one is seen after Alicia's death and before Jonathan's. One is seen after Jonathan's and before Lionel's. Two are seen after Lionel's death and before Jimmy's. Another is seen after Jimmy's death and before Lex clone's, and at least one other is seen after Old Lex Clone's death.

Are they earrings of some type?
They are worn by:
Current main, MS, M, never a guest, alive, alien, Clark's age
Current main, MS, M, was a guest, alive, human, not bearded, a little older than Clark
Current main , MS, F, was a guest, alive, human, a little older than Clark
Former main, SS, F, was a guest, alive, alien, younger than Clark
Former main, MS, M, was a guest, dead, human, not bearded, a little older than Clark
Single ep guest, M, never a main, human, powers, dead, older than Clark
Single ep guest, M, never a main, human, no powers, alive, older than Clark
Not earrings

So they are worn by Clark, Oliver, Lois, Kara, Lex, and a couple of SEGs.
Are they generally worn above the shoulders? Between the shoulders and the waist? Below the waist?
Does a main mention them as a metaphor? Current, MS, M/F, ever guest, alive, bearded, human, Clark's age?
Generally between shoulder and waist
A SEG mentions them as a metaphor - male, human, no powers, never a main, alive, probably a little older than Clark.

Are they any form of jewelry?
Are they worn on the arms or hands? On the chest? On the shoulders? Around the waist?
Is it a shirt of some sort?
Not jewelry.
Not a shirt.
I'd say it's worn on the shoulders.
skully
04-16-2011, 07:11 PM
Maybe capes?
Clark wore one as Carlos in Thirst, Oliver wore one as the Blur in Identity, Lois wore one as Stiletto in Stiletto, Kara wore one in Supergirl, Lex wore one as Alexander the Great in Wither, actors playing Warrior Angel and Devilicus wore one in Action, Steven Swift wore one as his version of Warrior Angel, and a bunch of geeks had them at Met-Com-Con in Warrior.
And don't forget Dr. Fate. Yes, "they" are capes. :)

One was poisonous
One was referred to in slang terms
One was part of an attempt to trick a main.
What are "they"?
Was someone poisoned by the poisonous one?
Are they living creatures of some kind?
Are they plants?
skully
04-18-2011, 03:49 PM
Yes, someone was affected by the poisoned one.
They are not living creatures of any kind.
They are not plants.
Are they something you would eat/drink?
Are they (or can they be used as) weapons of some sort?
Is the person who was poisoned a main? (current, MS, M/F, ever a guest, alive, human, bearded, Clark's age?) Or a guest (RG/SEG, >2, <5, ever a main, m/f, alive, human, powers, incarcerated, comatose, Clark's age?)
What about the person who referred to one in slang terms, the main who was supposed to be tricked, and the person doing the tricking? Same questions as above.
skully
04-19-2011, 02:44 PM
They are not something you would eat or drink.
They are not a weapon, although the poisoned version could be used due to its poisonous nature. :)
The main in all three cases is the same main - current, MS, M, never guest, alive, alien, non-bearded, Clark's age.
Shouldn't take long now. :)
So Clark is the main who was poisoned, he is the one who referred to one of "them" in slang terms, and he is the one who was supposed to be tricked?
What about the people doing the tricking and the poisoning?
I am having a total mental block at the moment - will have to think about it a bit. :)
