We are seen once.
We are seen in a single-ep location.
We weren't supposed to see something.
We are human children.
We are seen before JK's death
In Metropolis, indoors, day. Not near a common location
Who are we?
Thinking...
Any mains in the scene?

Are you the kids who saw Clark and Chloe almost kiss in the elevator when they were trying to figure out where the earing was?
skully
01-13-2012, 02:25 AM
Ah, very nice, fz. That'd be the little twins. Their mother also played the part of Hiram's wife in Relic, and Lara in Memoria. :)
Long time, no see. Welcome back. :D

Thanks Skully :D
Here's my new one:
They are seen quite regularly on the show
In this incident, they "went" away.
Their going away wasn't accidental
What are they?

Are they living?

Are they something owned by a main? A RG?
Can they be held and lifted in one hand? A closed fist?
Are they alien, organic, electrical/electronic?
Are they made of hard material?
Are they clorful?
Can they be worn?
Are they functional or decorative?
Do we see them in the same place each time?
Do we see them at a common series location? In Smallville? Metropolis? Indoors?
Do we see them before or after JK's death?
Were they stolen (to go away)?
Is the instance when they "went" away before or after:
Roger Nixon's death?
Kyla's death?
Morgan Edge's death?
Alicia Baker's death?
Jonathan's death?
Titan's death?
Lionel's death?
Jimmy's death?
Old Lex Clone's death?

They are not owned by either a main or a RG.
They can not be lifted in one hand, not held in a closed fist.
They are not: Alien, organic, electrical/electronic.
They are not made of hard material, They can not be worn, and are not colorful.
Some hard questions to answer. They are not really functional or decorative.
We see them in the same place every time, but at different places.
We see them both in Smallville and Metropolis, both day and night, outdoors.

Are they a vehicle of some sort? Something in a vehicle?
Are they heavy? Are they fixed to the ground, or fixed to something else?
Do we see them at common series locations?
When they "went" away, did they melt? dissolve? float off? leave of their own accord?

Not a vehicle and not in a vehicle.
They are not fixed to anything.

Float off would be the best description :)

They are mentioned once in the series.
They are used in reference to something.
They are not a particularly commonly used term.
What are they?
Are they mentioned by a main/RG/SEG? To a main/RG/SEG?
skully
01-18-2012, 08:33 PM
They are mentioned by a RG to Lana.
Is the RG M/F? >2, <5? ever a main? human? alive? powers? incarcerated? comatose? Clark's age?
skully
01-19-2012, 11:25 PM
The RG is M, 2 episodes, was a main, not human, alive, no powers, incarcerated, not comatose, a fair bit older than Clark.
Zod? If so, he'd have had to mention them to Lana when he had taken over Lex's body...
skully
01-20-2012, 11:27 PM
Indeed. :)
Okay, then...
Are they tangible?
Living?
Electric/electronic?
Are they ever seen?

01-21-2012, 05:50 PM

They are mentioned twice in the series, and singularly 3 times.
Some were experts in these things.
Some didn't like these things.
What are they?
Are they mentioned by a main/RG/SEG? To a main/RG.SEG?
Does either group of "some" include mains?
Are they ever seen?
skully
01-23-2012, 10:21 PM
They are mentioned by Lex to Clark, and Clark to a RG.
Singularly they are mentioned by Lex to Clark, by Clark to Martha, and by a RG to Clark.
Experts include Lex and Lionel
Non-likers are Clark and a RG.
They are not really seen.
Is the RG thatClark mentions them to the same RG that doesn't like them?
Fir each RG (if they are different): Male or female? >2, <5? Ever a main? Human? Powers? Alive? Incarcerated? Comatose? Clark's age?
skully
01-25-2012, 12:39 AM
Yep, same RG.
The RG is F, >5, was a main, human, no powers, alive, not incarcerated or comatose, a little older than Clark.
Okay, so They are mentioned by Lex to Clark, and Clark to S4 Lois
Singularly they are mentioned by Lex to Clark, by Clark to Martha, and by S4 Lois to Clark.
Experts include Lex and Lionel
Non-likers are Clark and Lois.
Does Clark (or someone else) SAY he doesn't like them, or do we SEE that he doesn't? What about Lois?
Are they tangible?
skully
01-26-2012, 02:15 AM
No, Clark doesn't say he doesn't like them, but it's from his delivery that he doesn't. Yes, Lois says she doesn't like them.
Tangibility is a little unclear. They cannot be touched but can be experienced.
So more tangible than, say, an emotion or an uncomfortable silence?
skully
01-27-2012, 02:14 PM
It's as tangible as uncomfortable silences. That's it, MrsK. Nice work. :D
Nice one, skully! :D Another in a bit.
Some of us are mains; some are guests
We are seen in multiple (but not all) seasons, from S1 to S10
We have one thing in common
Who are we?
skully
01-29-2012, 02:34 PM
So "we" are obviously people? Are you something like siblings? Is it something to do with relationships between people?
Yes, we are people.
Not siblings. Nothing to do with relationships between people.

No, not birthday boys/girls
skully

Jonathan, Lana, Lois, Lex, Lionel

02-02-2012, 09:07 PM

Was Lois one of these at the same time Lana was? What about Lex and Lionel?
Was Lois at the DP when she was one of these.
Could Clark ever be one of these?
No. None at the same time.
Lois was at the DP when she was one of these.
No, Clark couldn't be one.

Clark could not be one
Who are we?
Can Clark not be one because he is not human?
Are they maybe a superpowered human?
Superpowered humans is close enough - I was looking for humans that received kryptonian (or at least kryptonian-like) powers. :)

They are a common item in real life
They also have another meaning in the series.
What are they?
Are the mentioners mains/RGs/SEGs? How about the mentionees?
Are they tangible?
Are they seen as well as mentioned?
skully
02-06-2012, 09:34 PM
The mentioner is Oliver. The mentionees are Tess and a SEG.
They are tangible.
Yes, they are seen the first time they are mentioned.
are all the mentions in the same episode?
Is the SEG M/F? ever a main? human? alive? powers? incarcerated? Clark's age?
skully
02-07-2012, 12:14 PM
Yes, all in the same ep.
SEG is M, never main, human, most probably dead, no powers, quite a lot older than Clark.
skully
02-10-2012, 08:30 PM

First time we saw them they were not stolen
Second time we saw them they were stolen by SEGs
Third time we saw they were hidden by Pete
They belonged to a main.
What are they?
Which main do they belong to?
Are they tangible?
Can they be held and lifted in one hand? A closed fist?
Are they made of hard material?
Are they alien, edible, organic, electrical/electronic?
Can they be worn? Designed to be?
Are they functional or decorative?
Did Pete hide them before or after RN's, ME's, AB's death?
Did Pete hide them at or near a common SV location? In Smallville? Metropolis? Indoors? Day or night?
Lionel
They are tangible
Individually, they could be lifted with one hand, but wouldn't fit in a closed fist
They are made of hard material
They are alien, not edible, not electric/electronic, not organic
Can't be worn
Functional
Pete hid them after RN's death and before ME's
Not a common location, in the Smallville area, outdoors, day
skully
02-19-2012, 04:59 PM

They are mentioned once
They are a specific version of a very common item
Something is done to them that for devious ends.
What are they?
Are they mentioned by a main/RG/SEG? To a main/RG/SEG?
Do we see whatever is being done to them for devious ends?
Is the person that does whatever it is a main/RG/SEG?
Do they belong to a main?
skully
02-25-2012, 03:40 AM
Mentioned by Tess to Clark.
No, we don't see what is done to them.
The person responsible is Tess.
They do not belong to a main.
Are they destroyed? Altered?
Are they made of hard material?
Can they be lifted with one hand? Enclosed in a fist?
Are they edible? Alien? Electric/electronic?
Are they functional or decorative?
skully
02-25-2012, 07:39 PM
Altered or added to.
They are mostly made of soft material.
They could be lifted in one hand but not a closed fist.
They are not edible, alien or electrical/electronic.
They are functional.
Are they made of fabric?
Are they colorful?
Can they be worn? Intended to be?
Is the specific version seen more than once? Seen at or near a common location? In Smallville? Metropolis?
skully
02-26-2012, 07:58 PM
Made of fabric.
Not particularly colorful.
They can be worn and intended to be.
The specific version is seen more than once.
It is seen at 2 common series locations in Smallville and a recurring location in Metropolis.
Are they worn by a main, RG, or named SEG (or more than one)? On screen?
Would they be worn above the shoulders?
Above the waist?
Around the waist?
On arms/hands?
skully
02-28-2012, 01:04 AM
They are worn by a named RG on screen.
They are worn on all those areas except the hands.
So it is some sort full body covering - with a hood or headpiece?
Is it a wetsuit? Something equally form-fitting?
Is the RG M/F? >2, <5? Human? Powers? Alive? Incarcerated/institutionalized/comatose? Clark's age?
skully
02-29-2012, 12:10 AM
Full body covering (no hood). I counted the top to be on or over the shoulders.
Not a wet suit or similarly form fitting.
The RG is M, 2 eps (this is arguable, in fact on reflection is probably wrong (actually SEG). The actor appeared in 2 eps as different versions of the same character), alien, no powers, dead, much older than Clark.
That should narrow it down a lot, but I am drawing a blank at the moment. :) Will have to give this some thought later.
skully
03-03-2012, 03:37 PM
So what are these specific versions of a very common item, MrsK? :)
skully
03-05-2012, 12:39 AM
No.
Male, alien, dead, much older than Clark... Kryptonian? Kandorian? Zoner?
skully
03-10-2012, 01:50 AM
Hmm, Kandorian is probably the correct answer. Definitely Kryptonian.

What are they?
When Tess mentions them to Clark, does she mention whatever she did to them?
Is the mention in the same episode that we see the person wearing them?
When mentioned, would they be described in the plural (eg. "earrings" or "pants") or the singular (eg "coat" or "shirt")?
----- Added 17 Minutes later -----
Maybe "Jor-El's clothes" that Tess added a tracking device to? (Kandor)?
skully
03-10-2012, 05:57 PM
Jor-El's clothes it is, MrsK. Nice persistence. :D
The guest was actually the single episode Jor-El clone in Kandor. Julian Sands also appeared as the real Jor-El in holographic image in Abandoned when Clark went to the Fortress to help Lois, who'd gone there to attempt to reconcile Jor-El's and Clark's differences. :)
Okay.
They are mentioned three times
They are seen once.

Are there any mains in the scene when we see them?
Are they mentioned by mains? RGs? To mains? RGs? At common SV locations?
Do we see them before or after JK's death?
They are tangible
In one form they can be held with one hand. Not a closed fist, though.
In one form they are at least partially made of hard material.
They are not alien, edible, or electric/electronic. I don't think any part of them is organic.
Cannot be worn
They do exist in real life.
They would not normally be seen in any of those places
They are seen near a common location in Smallville, outdoors, night.
Clark, Lana, Lex, Chloe and Pete are in the scene.
They are mentioned by Chloe, Lana, and a SEG. To Clark twice and Oliver once. Both mentions to Cl;ark were at common locations; the mention to Oliver was at a recurring/sort of common location.
We see them before JK's death
skully
03-11-2012, 07:37 PM
Are they seen outside the farmhouse (maybe in Jitters)?
Are they maybe fireworks, as seen at Clark's party in Jitters, and referred to by Lana to Clark at that party, by Chloe to Clark at the Torch (as a suggestion for the light Clark saw) early in Solitude, and by the tech guy on the QI Jet to Ollie in Bride after Clark and Ollie got fiesty and the guy wifi-DLed the data of the router Clark had.

They are made of lots of things - just about every one of those could be part of them.
Is one of them made of all those things, or is each one made of only one or two components?
Are they seen in Legends, Warrior, or Charade?
skully
03-16-2012, 05:47 PM

Hmm, Lois and Kara don't have that many conversations from memory? Have to have a think.
How about jeans, as mentioned by Lois to Kara (Kara borrowed Lois's more than once) in Fracture and Lois to Clark in Echo, i.e. some replaceemnt jeans for the cut-offs she made for their monster truck date that didn't happen. :)

Is the RG M/F? >2, <5? Ever a main? Human? Powers? Alive? Incarcerated/Hospitalized or comatose? Clark's age?
skully
03-29-2012, 01:28 PM
M, >5, was a main, human, now powers, alive, not incarcerated, comatose or hospitalized, a bit older than Clark.
Oliver?
So it is mentioned in S6...
Are they tangible?
Can they be lifted with one hand? Enclosed in a fist?
Are they made of a hard material?
Are they alien? edible? electric/electronic? Organic?
Is the mention at a common location? In Smallville? Metropolis?
skully
03-29-2012, 06:05 PM
Yes, Oliver is the RG.
They are tangible.
Can be lifted in one hand, and not quite a closed fist.
Made of soft material.
Not alien, edible, electrical/electronic, but probably made of organic material.
Mentioned at a recurring location in Metropolis.
Is the recurring location Oliver's apartment?
Are they Clark's "tighty-whities" - mentioned in Justice when Clark goes to Oliver's apartment and demands to know where Bart is?

That's them, MrsK. Well done. :)
Okay. Another soonish. :)

*cough*
Yikes! Forgot about this one!
They are a specific version of something very common.
The specific version is mentioned once.
In a more general sense, they are mentioned several other times.
What are they?
skully
04-05-2012, 04:13 AM
Tangible?
Holdable/liftable in one hand? A closed fist?
Always plural?
Made of hard material?
Wearable? Designed to be?
Colorful?
Functional/decoractive?
Alien, edible, electrical/electronic, organic?
Are they seen?
Are the specific ones mentioned by a main/RG/SEG, to a main/RG/SEG? In Smallville? Metopolis? Indoors? Day? Common location?
Mentioned before or after JK's death?
Tangible
Would fit in a closed fist
Not necessarily plural, though usually referred to as more than one
Hard material
Not designed to be worn; I wouldn't consider them wearable
The specific version is not colorful
functional
not alien or electric. Not intended to be eaten, though I guess they could be. Organic
Yes, they are seen
Specific ones are mentioned by Oliver to Clark in Metropolis, indoors, day, common location, after JK's death
skully
04-05-2012, 11:09 PM
Made of metal, hard plastic, wood, cardboard, crystal/gemstone, rock, bone, ice, glass, ceramic? (yes, I know they aren't all organic :))
Mentioned at DP, LCHQ, Watchtower?
Mentioned before or after Titan's, Lionel's, Jimmy's OLC's death?
None of the above
mentioned at LCHQ
After Lionel's death; before Jimmy's
skully
04-06-2012, 05:16 PM
Maybe Oliver's fingernails as mentioned to Clark at LCHQ in Beast after Clark told Ollie that Davis was no longer in the grave Ollie buried him in. Ollie said "I buried that body myself. I still have the dirt under my fingernails to prove it."
That's them! Well done. :)

They are mentioned once in the series
They are intangible
They are a metaphor.
What are they?
Are they mentioned by a main/RG/SEG? To a main/RG/SEG?
Are they mentioned at a common location?
Are they mentioned before or after Lex is possessed by Zod?
skully
04-10-2012, 02:19 AM
They are mentioned by Lana to Chloe.
They are mentioned at a recurring location.
They are mentioned after Lex is possessed by Zod.
Is the recurring location in Smallville? Metropolis? Indoors? Day?
Before or after Lex and Lana's wedding? Their divorce?
skully
04-10-2012, 08:02 PM
Metropolis, indoors, night.
After the wedding and divorce.
So sometime in S7?
Is the common location the Isis Foundation? the DP?
Are they usually plural when they are referred to?
skully
04-11-2012, 12:50 AM
Yes, S7 and at Isis.
In the way they are mentioned, they are always plural.
Maybe at the end of Wrath?
skully
04-11-2012, 10:15 PM
No.
Hm. Not a lot of Chloe/Lana scenes at Isis, especially at night... Was anyone else there (main/RG/SEG)?
skully
04-13-2012, 03:15 AM
We see 2 SEGs and a RG (although this may be arguable). :)
Arguable that we see the RG, or that the person we see is a RG?
Is the supposed RG M/F? Ever a main? >2, <5? Alive? Human? Powers? Incarcerated? Hospitalized/comatose? Clark's age? good/bad?
Are the SEGs M/F? Alive? Human? Powers? Incarcerated? Hospitalized/comatose? Clark's age? good/bad?
Is it the scene when Chloe first discovers the Isis Foundation in Cure?
skully
04-14-2012, 09:47 PM
Arguable that the person is a RG. This person has been seen more than once in the series but it is unclear if any roles were the same person.
The supposed RG is F, never main, the actress appeared >2<5, alive, human, no powers, free and healthy, probably a little older than Clark, good.
I think you are thinking of the right scene, MrsK, but it wasn't in Cure. Chloe and Lana didn't interact in Cure nor did Chloe go to Isis in that ep.
Ah - you are tight, of course. It was in Lara. I guess I need to watch S7 again to refresh my memory!
So the RG is the receptionist?
Are "they" right angles?
skully
04-15-2012, 05:18 PM
Yes, the scene is in Lara and the RG is the receptionist.
Not right angles.
I didn't think that was right, but I watched the scene and didn't come up with anything else. Back to watch again! :)
skully
04-17-2012, 03:35 PM
No luck, MrsK? :)
skully
04-17-2012, 07:19 PM
They are Grassroots, MrsK. :)
All right. Another soonish! :)
They are located in numerous locations
They are seen only occasionally
They are useful, but they also pose a risk
What are they?
skully
04-19-2012, 12:10 AM
Tangible?
Held and lifted in one hand? A closed fist?
Made of hard material?
Alien, edible, organic, electrical/electronic?
Wearable? Designed to be?
Colorful?
Functional or decorative?
Would they be seen in a residence? An office or place of business? A place of recreational or entertainment? A medical facility?
Do we see them in Smallville? Metropolis? At or near a common series location? Indoors? Day or night?
Do we see them before or after Roger Nixon’s death? Morgan Edge's? Alicia’s? Jonathan's? Lionel's? Jimmy’s? Old Lex clone’s?
Any mains in the scenes that we see them?
Tangible.
Would not fit in a fist, but could be held with one hand
Made of hard material
Not alien, edible, or organic. They are electric/electronic.
functional
They could be seen in any of those places
They are located at various locations in both Smallville and Metropolis throughout the series. In most cases we see the evidence that they are there rather than the actual items. Will have to track down scenes where they are seen.
skully
04-19-2012, 02:28 PM
Made of metal, plastic, glass, crystal, ceramic?
Is the risk they pose due to radiation, or possible electric shock?
Probably both metal and plastic components, with some glass as well.
No, those are not related to the risk they pose.
skully
04-19-2012, 08:24 PM
Do they pose a health risk, or some other form of risk?
Maybe a radio?
Some other form of risk
Not radios
skully
04-20-2012, 07:33 PM
A risk to security, Clark's secret, financial, political, property damage?
Are they plugged in to a powerpoint?
Are they normally/always seen indoors?
They are a risk to Clark's secret.
I think they would be plugged in.
They can be seen indoors or out. On the show, probably more common indoors.
skully
04-20-2012, 07:50 PM
Are they seen in Smallville AND Metropolis?
Are they a risk to Clark's secret because they won't work on him, can't pierce his skin, or affect him in some way?
Yes, Smallville and Metropolis
No, not a risk for those reasons
skully
04-21-2012, 04:18 PM
Hmm, what to ask?
Are they an appliance of some sort? A piece of medical equipment? Miltary equipment? Police equipment? FBI/CIA/DDS equipment? Superhero equipment? Office equipment? Lab equipment?
Not an appliance. Not medical equipment. Not superhero equipment. They might be found in an office or a lab, but I would say they are office or lab equipment. Police or FBI/CIA/DDS might make use of them.
skully
04-21-2012, 04:55 PM
Maybe CCTV cameras or associated video equipment? They could be used to capture Clark in freeze frame or while doing his Blur duties?
Yes, security cameras.
You're up! :)

skully
04-22-2012, 07:13 PM
They are mentioned 3 times in the series.
I don't believe we ever see them.
They are of significance in one episode.
What are they?
mentioned by mains/RGs/SEGs? To mains/RGs/SEGs?
Are any or all of the mentions in the same ep in which they have significance?
skully
04-23-2012, 05:50 PM
Mentioned by Jonathan to Martha twice, and by Clark to Martha.
The other 2 mentions are not in the same ep as the one this pronoun has some significance.
Would they be seen at the farm if we had seen them?
Are they made of a hard material?
Are they alien? edible? electric/electronic?
Would they fit in a closed fist? Can they be lifted with one hand?
Are they functional or decorative?
skully
04-23-2012, 07:19 PM
Yes, they would be seen at the farm if seen.
They are made of hard and soft material.
They are not alien, not generally edible, not electical/elctronic.
They would not fit in a closed fist, nor can they be lifted with one hand.
They are functional.
Are they alive? (plant or animal?)
Are they some sort of farm equipment?
Are they mechanical?
skully
04-24-2012, 01:30 AM
Parts are them are alive - plants would be closest.
Not farm equipment.
Nothing mechanical.
skully
04-24-2012, 10:57 PM
Bounce.
Would they be seen in the house/barn/loft? Outdoors?
Do all the mentions take place at the farm?
skully
04-26-2012, 02:24 AM
They would not be seen in the farmhouse, barn or loft.
They would be seen outdoors.
All mentions take place at the farm.
Parts of them are alive, and plants would be the closest description... No clue!
When Clark mentions them to Martha, is it before or after Roger Nixon's death? Morgan Edge's? Alicia's? Jonathan's? Titan's?
Is this the mention that is in the ep when "they" are important?
Are Clark and Martha in the house when he mentions them? Barn? Loft?
skully
04-26-2012, 09:04 PM
Clark mentions them to Martha after Titan's death. This is not the ep that "they" have a significant role in.
Clark and Martha are in the house when he mentions "them".
Clark to Martha between Combat and Phantom... Are "they" the back 40?
skully
04-27-2012, 06:35 PM
They are indeed the Back 40, MrsK. Well done, you're up. :)
Nice one, skully! :D
All right. Another soonish.
Sorry for the delay - and thanks for the reminder that I needed to post a new question!
Two are dead
Two attempted murder; one succeeded
One wanted something from Lex
What are they?
skully
05-07-2012, 02:30 PM
So they are humans?
Are they Luthor relatives? Friends? Employees? Clients? Enemies?
Some specific meteor freaks?
They are human There is s Luthor connection - I guess relatives would be accurate Not meteor freaks

One appeared in multiple episodes
two appeared in separate single episodes

skully
05-08-2012, 02:11 AM
Darn, thought it fitted nicely.
So there are 3 of these?
What about different aged versions of Lex? Alexander (Fracture, Descent), Lex in Memoria and Lex in Reunion.
No, they aren't any kind of versions of Lex.
skully
05-13-2012, 04:33 AM
Are they different aged versions of Julian?
Nope. Perhaps narrowing down gender would help...
skully
05-13-2012, 04:13 PM
Heh, are they female?
skully
05-13-2012, 04:58 PM
Are they wives, girlfriends, aunts, sisters, grandmothers, cousins?
Of whom? One is a wife, 2 could be considered girlfriends, but that's not completely accurate.
skully
05-13-2012, 06:52 PM
Of Luthors.
Maybe the mothers of Lionel's children? Lillian (Lex and Julian), Rachael Dunleavy (Lucas), and Pamela Jenkins (Lutessa)?

05-13-2012, 08:37 PM
Nice one, MrsK. :) OK, try this...
They are mentioned twice.
They are not specifically seen.
They are crucial to the plot of several episodes.
What are they?
Mentioned by main/RG/SEG? To main/RG/SEGs?
Are the episodes all in the same season?
skully
05-13-2012, 09:09 PM
Mentioned by a RG to others (2 SEGs and Clark), and by a RG to a SEG.
Yes, the episodes with the mentions are in the same season.
Are the mentioners M/F? >2, <5? Ever mains? Human? Powers? Alive? Incarcerated? Comatose? Clark's age?
Are the SEGs with Clark named? M/F? Human? Alive? Powers? Clark's age?
Are the episodes consecutive?
skully
05-14-2012, 11:57 PM
Mentioner 1 is M, 2 eps, never main, alien, powers, alive, not incarcerated or comatose, a bit older than Clark. The SEGs with Clark are named, one M, one F, alien, alive, powers, maybe around Clark's age. :)
Mentioner 2 is M, >2<5, never main, human, no powers, alive, not comatose or incarcerated, older than Clark.
The episodes are not consecutive.
Is Mentioner 2 Winslow Schott? (although I thought he was incarcerated when we saw him last, so maybe not). I think Sam Lane also fits the description, but he wasn't in S8...
I'm thinking Mentioner 1 is Rokk Krinn - in Legion.
skully
05-15-2012, 05:39 PM
Mentioner 2 is not Winslow Schott, nor Sam Lane.
Mentioner 1 is Rokk Krinn in Legion. :)

skully
05-19-2012, 05:33 PM
Indeed. :)
All right - from memory (will double check tomorrow)
They are fairly common, but I think only seen once on Smallville.
They are not relevant to the plot of the episode in which they are seen.
They are seen in a single ep location.
