Worst season?

So we already had best. What is everyone's worst season of the show? I'm gonna go with season 5. The first 8 were pretty decent. But there was way too much attenton on the love traingles and the story in 1977 wasn't interesting. The only saving grace to me is the twist ending in the finale, and this season dd anwser some questions.

Season 4 suck.. I loved season 2. The hatch, The others, and the tail section had me going.

Season 4 is acutally my second favorite (So far season 1 is still the best to me) and season 2 is my second least favorite. The only reason it got beat by Season 5 was because there are several episodes in season 2 I can watch over again (Man of science, man of faith, Orientation, The other 48 days, The 23rd psalm, Live Together Die Alone) and Season 5 there may be like 1 or 2.

Season 5. I don't have seen all Episodes of this season, it was too boring.

I've only seen the first 4 seasons, and out of them I'd say 2 was the worst. I really wasn't keen on the hatch storyline.

I think u need to re think abt this poll. You should ask for the best season instead of asking the worst one here. We can't choose a particular season because all the seasons were good . There are few episodes of season 2 that i don't like but it doesn't mean that the whole season was not good.

Don't need to re-think it for me. The second half of season 5 (Episodes 9-16) except for the great finale and maybe the Ben episode were some of the worst arcs the show produced.

In trying to play catch up, I watched the first 3 seasons on abc.com and I found season one to be a struggle to get through. It wasn't until the end of the season that it really got better and picked up.

I agree. Just finished watching S5, the finale was great, but the whole season lacked the intensity the first 3 seasons had.

I just recently got into this series and Season 5 without question is my pick as well. Still a great season/show, just not as good as what came before. I hope Season 6 redeems Season 5 by following-up on the groundwork it laid and directions they decided to go in an ultimately satisfying way, because S5 on its own was a bit of a depressing downer.

I think a show like Lost just like the Harry Potter series needs to be examined as a whole really.

When reading book 2 and 6 before others came they seemed like filler. But when examining the entire series they fit and are very important.

My least favourite is probably season 3. I hated the bear cage episodes, I hated Nikki & Paulo, I hated Jack's tattoos episode etc. :\

To me season 3 was the worst. The low point came when Sawyer and Kate escape Hydra island with Karl, and in all the time they were with him, they never asked Karl one little thing.
Being that Sawyer is a con man, therefore is all about getting information, that was just ridiculous (the straw that broke the back), and changed my attitude toward the show permanently.

all the seasons were gret but i think maybe season 5. we learned more about dharma but wished we learned more about the others and all that. glad this season has the same feeling it did when the series first started. the middle season think felt drugged out because i think they had other plans for the series but when the writers strike happened they had to rush some stuff and change stuff around.
