OK, here's a new game that should be fun...

The object: To find (5) things within a particular location on the show (somewhere in Smallville or Metropolis like the Luthor mansion or the Daily Planet, for example) OR, these items could be "hidden" in a particular EPISODE (your choice). The questioner should list (5) generic things he/she wants found and then tell the players WHERE to look. I'll go first...

Find:
-a weapon
-a recreational activity (or game)
-a piece of jewelry
-a specific book
-a food item

Look in:
The Kent estate

Have fun!

*As always, the first person to find five items which fit the description gets to pose the next question!

Let me see if I understand.....

-weapon: Jonathan Kent's shotgun from Nicodemus, Relic, & Crisis
-recreational activity: Clark's football (most episodes from Season 4)
-piece of jewelry: Lana's powered down necklace (after Visage)
-specific book: Tales of the Wierd and Unexplained in the Abyss flashback
-food item: the pancakes that Lois made in Lucy

Did I do it right?

You got it! It's that simple!

I was also thinking of: The Velveteen Rabbit (book), Jonathan's watch, Martha's pearl necklace, the basketball hoop (and ball), Lois's burned bacon.

As long as it "fits", I'll accept it. You're up!

Find these items in the Smallville Torch:

-a head of an extraterrestrial
-a stuffed animal (one-headed)
-a stuffed animal (two-headed)
-a huge writing utensil
-a retroitem from the 60's

Some of these items were in plenty of episodes, so describe the location of the room you would find it in.

Green alien head container of some sort that sits on Chloe's desk
Chloe's 2-headed cow on the back of the sofa where Pete slept in Talisman
Giant pencil in the corner
Lava lamp

Still trying to remember a one-headed stuffed animal...

Wouldn't the little green alien count? The one that was floating around in Crush? That had one head, no?

super_j_man

I'm not sure. Was that something other than the green alien head? If it was then I guess you can use it. I was thinking of something else though...

I'm not sure. Was that something other than the green alien head? If it was then I guess you can use it. I was thinking of something else though...

I THINK they're two different things (I could totally be wrong). I think there's a "head" that acts as a lid to a container on Chloe's desk and I think there's also a stuffed green alien toy (something you might win at a carnival). Maybe Mrs. Kent or Skully can confirm.

MrsK
06-10-2009, 04:34 PM
There is a separate, much larger green alien head - kind of reminds me of the plastic pumpkins I used to take trick-or-treating as a child... definitely separate from the stuffed alien.

super_j_man
06-10-2009, 04:38 PM
I knew about the big alien head but I didn't remember about the stuffed alien. Well I guess that works, it just depends on if you call an alien an "animal". I probably would. The one I was thinking about was the stuffed panda that can be seen in Drone. If Chloe was sitting at her desk it would be to her left.

MrsK, since you got most of them I guess you're up! :D

HeroesUnlimited

Interesting. As a kid, I always used "stuffed animal" as kind of a generic term for all stuffed toys. Never thought about it so literally, lol

something hidden - the container that contained the remains of Brainiac in Wrath
something dangerous - Lex's gun
something you can consume - the bottle of scotch

The two authority figures who broke the law could be the teacher Chloe interviewed in "Truth" who drove the car of a group that blew up a bank in the seventies, and Coach Altman who went psycho, kidnapped Megan and Lana, and tried to burn the two up in a basement.

The "something frozen" would be the indoor pool when Sean sucks all the heat out of it in "Cool" and tries to do the same to Chloe before Clark shows up.

The "something unsafe to drink" would be the Kryptorade (Kryptonite-spiked sports drink) that the cheerleaders were using to keep their boyfriends devoted to them in... well, "Devoted."

The two students who aren't what they appear to be... well, there's plenty who fit into that category, but two who especially fit that category would be Tina Greer, who could shape-shift into anyone she wanted, and Cyrus Krupp, who claimed to be an alien, but turned out to be a meteor freak with healing powers.

The "humiliating tradition" -- well, Whitney and his football jock buddies kidnapping Clark in the parking lot to become their next scarecrow would count, wouldn't it?

Do I have them all right, HU?

Yep, also Desire Atkins and probably Coach Walt too.

Yeah, that would work. I was also thinking of Crissy Parker.

Yes! In Red, Lana moved food that was on a plate (presumably having been served) and putting it BACK in the display case. It's pointed out in the producer commentary, or I would never have noticed.

SGuthrie27
07-03-2009, 12:44 PM
Okay, well, this isn't from Season 1, but I'm wondering if it would count as an "on-screen delivery"... In Season 5's "Hidden," Lana comes in to "deliver" Clark's medical file to Lex to prove that he was just an ordinary guy (thanks to Jor-El stripping him of his powers, unbeknownst to either of them). It's not brought by a delivery guy, but it was "delivered." Would it count, or shall I keep looking?

Hmmm... I'm still a bit flummoxed on this one. I'll have to admit that Season 5 has never been one of my favorites, and there are many episodes of it that I haven't watched in ages. I'll keep thinking!

How about the Art of War (book) - I believe Lionel gave that to Lex for his birthday. Also the lead box made from the armor of St. George

Oh, very good! I hadn't thought of the Art of War, but it counts. And we saw the lead box in the library in the Eternal flashback (even though I don't think he should have had it at that time given it was a deathbed present from his mother, but whatever!!!)

The gift I was thinking of was a painting given to celebrate a deal. It's mentioned by the college student in Fanatic. Kinda obscure I know!

Look for:

-something invisible to the naked eye

-product placement

-something bad for your health

-something to warm you up when you're cold

-something intended specifically to entertain kids

Look in:
Season 4

Jlvsclrk
07-04-2009, 02:01 PM
- product placement is Red Zone deodorant in Jinx (not to mention the fictional LuthorCorp putting its logo on the football team's jerseys)

- something to warn you is Hot Chocolate, specially reheated by Clark in Unsafe

Have to think about the others

SGuthrie27

Something invisible to the naked eye: Could that be the deformities people saw on their faces after Abby Fine kissed them, but seemed real to them because of her meteor powers?
Product placement: Old Spice Red Zone -- in "Jinx"
Something bad for your health: jumping in front of a bullet (what Alicia did in "Unsafe")
Something to warm you up when you're cold: Ummm.... a hot shower, like the one Lana was taking in "Pariah?"
Something intended specifically to entertain kids: The Velveteen Rabbit, a book that Evan was reading in "Ageless"

I know that some of those are a bit of a stretch, so if they don't work, just say so, and I'll find new answers. :D

Yep, that's 3! Two more.

-Something bad for your health (a bullet is fatal. The item I had in mind takes much longer to kill you)

-Something invisible to the naked eye. (this "thing" is actually there. It's just really small. The effect of the distorted faces was actually just a hallucination)

Find the following things in Season 2:

-A two-way mirror
-A labeled container with something different inside it than what's read on the label
-A piece of sporting equipment used in an unconventional way
-An airborne vehicle other than a plane
-Something in the loft used as proof of something

SGuthrie27

You all have three so far -- the flour can with the key inside was one I was thinking of, the 2-way mirror where Lionel and Emily had tea was correct, and the helicopter in "Nocturne" works (though I was thinking of the hot air balloon in "Ryan"). The baseball bat belonging to Eric Marsh isn't what I was thinking of... Did he use it in an unconventional way in "Witness?" I think you all have 2 more to go...

Haha, guess that means I'll have to look at that DVD again to be sure. Is the medical test the one that Lex has run on himself and finds out about his abnormally increased white blood cell count? Or does the test have something to do with Clark?

Something not normally seen... How about an invisible person, like Jeff in "Shimmer?" Or leaves that turn you invisible? Or tattoos that enable you to walk through walls? Or a person's actual muscles while they're still alive (Clark's accidental x-ray of Pete in the episode by that same name)? Or is it truly something that is typically invisible to the naked eye?

--SGuthrie ><>' :)--

Yes! The medical test is the one on Lex that leads him to Chloe's Wall of Wierd and then to Dr. Hamilton.

And as for the not-normally-seen, yes, the one I was thinking of was Pete's muscles.

So you can either watch the DVD for the other weapons or guess - you could get two from the Lord of the Rings and another one is pretty common.

an instrument being played (not a piano) Lucy Lane's violin in "Lucy"?
a cake that looks like a fire hazzard --the cake the sorority girls had in "Recruit"?

SGuthrie27
08-22-2009, 09:57 PM
Lucy's violin definitely works! I was thinking of the organ being played at Clark and Alicia's Vegas "wedding."

The cake that looks like a fire hazard -- did the "Recruit" one have candles on it? There was one from earlier in the season that I had in mind, but if the "Recruit" one was very ablaze, it would work as well.
