Bela giggled quietly when she saw the old woman grab Sam's ass and he neatly stepped out of her way, obviously a little embarrassed and irritated that he was having to put up with this touchy-feely woman until Dean and Bela completed their mission

Sam was going to give her and Dean HELL for this when it is all over!

In a move that was so classic, he wondered how no one figured out it was an acting job, Dean carried Bela (who pretended to faint) into an upstairs study and dismissed the security guard. Once the guard was gone, Dean unceremoniously dumped Bela on the couch

Her eyes were shooting sparks as she raised up, "Was that REALLY called for??" she asked in her clipped British accent

Dean snickered that the usually unflappable Bela is now...... well..... flappable!

"Maybe not, but I sure enjoyed it." Dean responded with amusement

She stood nose to nose in front of him, then reached a hand back in anger to smack the smile off his face, and for the manhandling of her a moment ago. Since Dean is used to thinking and reacting quickly, he caught her wrist before it struck him, then caught her other wrist when she tried again.

And without thinking, he pulled her to him and kissed her brutally, pinning her arms behind her back and pulling her against his body

Dean was surprised when she actually melted into the kiss. He expected a struggle. He would have completely stopped at the kiss and left her wanting more, but he was powerless to stop when she began to kiss him back, when her body was actually trying to get closer to his and not fighting him. He released her wrists and she draped her arms around his neck and he rested his hands at the base of her spine, warming her back and pressing her closer to him

Author's note: Here's the last installment. Just a note that this is from the episode "Red Sky in the Morning", about the ghost ship and the ghost pirate that was haunting Bela. OK, to answer your question regarding the hand reference

First, Bela was introduced during the third season of Supernatural (and I'm going to totally spoil this for you if you decide to ever watch it, but it's the only way to explain my fic), Bela is a woman born and raised in England, about late 20's or early 30's (I'm guessing). You find out she is rich (inherited money from her parents), and she makes more money mostly dealing with and scamming the rich. She's extremely greedy, but a killer body too. She has connections and ways of getting charms, weapons, just about anything a hunter needs to go demon hunting. And she charges outrageous for her services, but she's good!

Also, when she finds something she knows she can sell for a lot of money on the black market, she steals it and fences it, which is why she cozies up to rich people. What Bela wants, Bela usually gets. And she did that to the Winchesters' Colt (a gun they carried to kill demons). I won't go into a lot of history about the Colt revolver, just that it was made special in the 18th or 19th century to take out any demon and the Winchesters owned it until Bela stole it. At the time, that Colt revolver was the only one of it's kind to kill any demon

On "Red Sky In the Morning", the ghost the Winchesters are tracking, was a pirate killed by his own brother. He is a vengeful spirit that goes after these people that have killed their loved ones. Dean and Sam usually salt and burn the bones of the person and it lays the spirit to rest. It didn't work when they tried it and they realized there was one other body part. A hand.

Dean and Sam were trying to track it down, wanted to salt and burn the hand to lay the spirit to rest and stop killing people in this town. They realized Bela knew where it was and how to get to it, she had all the schematics of the security system. Bela, on the other hand, hired Sam and Dean to get to the hand for her (basically to do her dirty work). They hated Bela but couldn't get into the party without her (the party was held at the house the hand was kept). They were going to double-cross her later, figuring she deserved it after stealing their Colt. I think she was supposed to give them money also.

Bela got them invitations to the soiree. Problem was, a client of Bela's (a rich old lady who was probably in her 70's if I were to guess) had pulled the strings to get the invitations and she had a HUGE crush on Sam. So Sam was "pimped out" (I think that's what Sam called it) to keep the woman distracted and he had to pose as the woman's new boy toy, which he didn't like one bit. And of course it gave Dean license to tease Sam mercilessly. It was a hilarious episode to watch him fend off advances from this old woman. I still get the giggles when I think about it.

Anyway, I think Bela bought the tuxes for the Winchester men and when Dean was dressed and walking down the stairs to meet Bela, dressed to the nines in a tux, she looked him over and remarked, "You know, when this is over, we really should have anger sex." and walked out to her car. Dean just raised an eyebrow at her and looked surprised. They never did do it on the episode and I just thought, "Hmmm! What if THAT was how she got the hand away from him?" :) Because after Dean managed to get the hand out of the glass display case without tripping the alarm, he went back to get Bela out of the study so the two of them can leave. Later you see Dean running out of the house with Sam. Sam asked, "Did you get it?" Dean said, "Yeah, I..." and he patted his jacket pocket and checked it. Bela had placed some kind of figurine in Dean's pocket and took the hand. So she double-crossed them

It came back to bite her later because SHE saw the ghost ship, meaning she would be the next victim and she had to run back to the Winchesters, asking for their help. :)

Thanks Lara! I agree that Bela was an interesting character. They killed her off before the end of Season 3 and that sucked! I think her character would have had more potential, but that's just my personal opinion. ;)

I need to come up with some kind of one or two shot for Sam along the same genre, but coming up with a female character is a challenge. I think Jared Padelecki (who plays Sam) has had only one love scene, possibly two since the series started (I haven't seen Season 4, so I'm referring only to Seasons 1-3). The writers explore other issues with Sam besides a love life. They show him as the more serious, intense brother, even though he's the younger brother. He acts more like the older brother sometimes. The only thing that really shows Dean as the older brother is his protectiveness toward Sam, since he's had to watch over him all of Sam's life while their dad was "hunting" for demons. They call "hunting" their family business. Their father did it and now they do it.

I'm toying with a Sam/Ruby pairing. Ruby is a demon who also made an appearance in Season 3, saving Sam from another demon. Ruby is kind of considered a "good demon", if there is such a thing. She teams up with Sam sometimes and Sam has turned to her for advice a couple of times, but their relationship through Season 3 was platonic, on-again-off-again friends. Sam is never completely sure he can trust her, and Dean DEFINITELY doesn't trust her (she's a demon after all!). So here's a girl that big brother Dean doesn't approve of for his younger brother that I could play around with. Sam had a fantasy or two about Bela, but since I already used her for Dean, I'm not going that route. ;)

The background story on the Winchesters is basically their mother was killed by a demon when Sam was 6 months old and it happened in his nursery. Their father began tracking that demon, and he brought his boys with him, leaving the house they lived in and traveling all over the country. It doesn't tell how Dean and Sam did their schooling growing up. Anyway, Sam broke away from the "family business" and went to college, meeting a girl and becoming engaged. Then Dean pops back into his life after not seeing each other for four or five years to tell him their dad was missing on a hunting trip. Dean had stayed with their dad in the "family business". Sam only meant to help Dean find their dad and only be gone for the weekend because he had an interview to get to that following Monday. When Sam returned, he found his girlfriend dead in the same manner his mother was killed, same demon did it, and therefore he teamed up with his brother, leaving college behind, to track down his girlfriend's killer (who also killed their mother about 22 years earlier). Just like their dad did as they were growing up. And that propelled the story of "Supernatural".

Hey, I finally got around to reading this. Good job, Trina. I appreciate the explanations of the Bela character. I've only managed to see a couple of episodes of Supernatural - one in which Sam got the girl, even if it did turn out bad. I had to laugh at the next one because from your earlier fic, I just felt it was classic Dean - Jensen was so funny in it.
