I just finished reading this book. It was assigned to me for my Honors British Literature Class and i have to say it was...interesting. It started out really odd but i think the author hit it right on the money of what our world would really be like if the theory in the book happened. We also watched the movie the Island to go along with it...so think of that if your having a hard time understanding the summary...:)
Heres the amazon summary, author name, product, reviews ect.

I really enjoyed the perspective this book offered. I read it in high school. We had to compare it to 1984. It's a pretty good contrast.....

I had the same assignment. Yeah. The contrast is huge. Brave New World was creepy, but nothing compared to 1984.
Brave New World is all sunshine and flowers, and no having kids. It freaked me out so bad. If that ever happened for real... shudder..... All about making everyone feel good.
Loved the character The Savage. I was hoping he would save people, but they didn't have brains.
