Really? I have to go and check out Culture sometime. The one thing that helped me post faster was the countdowns. That's why i went from 4000 to 5000 in a week(Doomsday countdown) and that's why i haven't reached 6000 a month after the finale.

It wouldn't have been my FIRST choice, but it's a damned good episode. Top 10 at least, maybe even top 5 all-time. It is probably the closest thing to a "movie" Smallville has ever done. I enjoyed the stones of knowledge storyline immensely and it was cool to see that finally come to a conclusion.

looking at these ratings make me speechless some of the rankings have me baffled but it gives me a perspective on how differently each view an episode. This was a pretty great game good work Jess! commencement was a great episode not my fave but its not hard to see why it won

After Season 9 is over we'll definitely have to do this again. At least then we'll know how to set the rules up a little better. The flaw of this game was having to change or add rules in the middle of a round because of different things.

The point of the game I liked, though, is not to create a perfect list of episodes that everyone can agree upon, but a game where everyone tries to get their favorite episodes to win. I'm sure the next time we play it, things will probably turn out differently. My personal favorite episode won, but I knew that it wasn't in much of danger of it getting eliminated. Another thing that was interesting was seeing everyone go back and forth on trying to eliminate some episodes and campaigning for certain episodes to win. Blank had a good following even though I don't think a lot of people where thrilled to see it make it as far as it did.

I always felt if you look at Season 4 as a bunch of 1 shot episodes(and try avoid the stones storyline or Lana being a witch) it is the most entertaining season because for the most part we get limited angst(ironically with Lana being a witch it took away from alot of Clana storylines, so you take good with bad) with a Clark Kent who is generally happy. The lack of the FOTW in most episodes as well doesn't make the episodes fell like the typical FOTW storylines of the first 3 seasons

I agree, Supsfan. There were so many strong stand-alone episodes in the season, and yes, driving the show further away from the FOTW plot device helped "Smallville" grow a lot as a series.
