Lois went into the future so she could come back before jimmy dies and clark or someone could save him, but then davis would be back too........

or maybe some future method to bring back the dead? LOL

or she could come back to that moment in the fortress and tell clark info and clark could convince chloe that davis/doomsday has to go to the phantom zone!

it's smallville, you never know!

Lois isn't going to save him. That means someone else will have to doe in his place.... who Chloe? Lois? Oliver? Common. Jimmy left the show as a hero. He saved Chloe from Davis, after beening stabbed with a pole.

hmm...interesting. Lois did time-warp. Maybe she will be able to save Jimmy and Clark?

i love chloe. i always have. but if it meant bringing jimmy back i think she should go. she's been my favorite character for a long time and she's done a LOT for smallville. but jimmy died before he really established himself as a part of the show. i know he's been on since season 6 but he's never been much of a regular. in this season alone he's been in just half the episodes. if not less. besides, he's jimmy olsen! jimmy olsen doesn't die. he needs to hang around the daily planet with lois and clark. so as sad as it would be i could accept chloe finally dying if it meant keeping jimmy. wow, i never thought i'd say that... it's just that jimmy's death makes no sense at all to me. i dont think anyone expected it. even clark dying would've made more sense in this finale.

It was implied by the writers that he is staying dead once the little brother was thrown into the mix... geeky looking + bow tie and camera. Yeah.

I think the little brother is the Jimmy from, the comics. I don't like it but I don't hate it.

Once they revealed he isn't THE Jimmy Olsen, he was really dead. Bringing him back would serve no point.

Maybe Lex has a little bald brother around who's the real Lex.

Hell, maybe Clark has a little brother who might be interested in being Superman.

Can I just point out that while my theory of Jimmy actually being Superman was false, I called him not being Jimmy AGES ago. You heard it from me first! :D

Aaron Ashmore did an interview with EW.com and confirmed he is leaving the show.

Maybe there’re still many people thinking there will be a twist (especially b/c of Lois’s cliffhanger with the Legion ring) and he’d be back in the beginning of the next season?

Because if they’re SV fans who never read comics nor ever seen other Superman TV shows before, how do they know what the middle name of THE Jimmy was? The younger brother was certainly a hint but no one called him ‘Jimmy’, right?

I think there might be many non-internet & spoiler-free fans out there who hasn't read Aaron's recent interviews either. Maybe the real backlash of Jimmy’s retcon hasn’t arrived yet, after all……..

Yeah, as soon as I saw the bow tie, combined with the "Henry James...." it was painfully obvious this was not something to be undone. I think AA was great, but I don't have as big a problem with the plot twist; anything too easy to guess at is, well, too easy. Half the fun is the unexpected. BUT...I will fully understand how others are upset. If Chloe gets sacrificed it won't just be my cats hearing my rage.
