Clark acted a little strange in the end. Do you think Doomsday took over his body?

No, Zod in the crystal needed Doomsday.

The final scene with Clark was - well, weird. About halfway through the scene I said (out loud) "where the hell is he going with this?". I can just see TW saying (after the scene was shot) "this guy is a total drama queen. Anyone want to shoot some hoops?"

well you know I really don't think that was the real clark remember he said he wasn't even sure of how he survived the explosion in the first place i think this was the smallville version of the eradicator

I think he did.
The way Clark talked about humans was very cold and Zod needed Davis dead and Davis died. We don't know if Doomsday died and took over Clarks body and next year Clark will start working with Zod. It will then take Chloe and Jorel to seperate Clark from Doomsday.

It's Clark realizing that he has to fulfill his destiny and become Superman.
You are looking way too into it.

Yea maybe he was just finally accepting his destiny but he did seem unClarklike, thats probably to do with Jimmy's death though.

yea i could see it going either way clark seeing that jorel/john jones was right that his humanity was blocking his development. or it would be an interesting twist if it was smallville's take on eradicator and clark the real one is is "dead" with doomsday in the ground.

Doomsday comes out of the ground and kills Superman in the future.
So no.

Ha, no. But maybe it's Kal-El or Eradicator

I think the Black K hit him during the explosion, and this is his Krytonian half. "Clark" is probably out there somewhere, possibly buried underground.

No, Zod in the crystal needed Doomsday.
Just to get rid of Clark for him.

He's doing the Clark thing, going from one extreme to the other.

^^^That was my thought too Looney. This is his overreaction to his mistakes.

I can admit he was cold and distant like "dead inside"....

I agree with Jawth. I think he inadvertantly touched the black Kryptonite and "Kal-El" came out of the explosion and "Clark" is either dead or buried alive with Doomsday.
Of course if that is the case why would he have been so concerned about finding Lois? It's all very confusing.

No, it wasn't doomsday . . . I'm thinking it was Eradicator . . . in the mythos, at this point, Clark died, and Jor-El had to bring him back, and when he came back there were carbon copies of himself he had to defeat
It could also have been Clark, thinking that he's embracing his destiny, maybe deciding to go do his training, who knows. But that was definitely ZOD taking over Davis' body.
Davis is dead for good, doomsday is now just doomsday

I just thought it was more Character Regression we've grown accustomed to seeing on this show.
You know, 2 steps forward, 11 Back.

I wondered for a moment and still have doubts but I prefer my theory, Clark as a Phoenix. But as some said he had a very weird behavior at the beginning at his conversation with Chloe, the way he looked at her was cold and without humanity...But after, what he said fits with the Clark we know, he is depressed, he feels guilty,...Wait and see
I still don't understand what he meant with; Clark Kent is dead or something. Totally weird.

At least Clark isn't weeping, he's taking it like a man, and I'm liking it.

I think he mean't the one that cared about humanity, or his human side.
He should be Clark. As you can see on his face at the graveyard he was almost crying!. He didn't want to be there with the others next Jimmy's body. He feels guilty!. He doesn't want to be the same "stupid" boy making wrong decisions. He have to change and what better than your father for help.
Anyway I agree with you guys that Clark was a bit weird and even more his answer (I don't know what happened).
But there was another two very specials things that I really can't imagine how will continue...
First, where the hell is Lois!!. Then we found "Mr Zod" in live inside a human body (It couldn't be the real one, could he?).
