With Jimmy and Davis dead, Clark "dead," Lois missing and Oliver disappearing...

Chloe is going to be the lone character (besides Tess who will be meeting Zod) in the premiere...

I was disappointed with the way they treated Erica/Lois in the finale.

She was a goner in 4 minutes maximum!!!

I bet Season 9 will be centered around Chloe Sullivan again. I have no problem with that, but, Erica's Lois Lane should be given importance as well.

I understand that AM was her first, but Erica is playing the LOIS LANE.

There is always the chance next season begins "3 Months Later"

I assume it'll be more of a Chloe/Clark/Tess centric episode. Premise could be set up with Tess housing Zod, Chloe still searching for the rest of the JLA members, and Clark residing in FOS for training.

I sure hope that it doesn't end up like that. If it does then this show will lose another viewer.

Though I imagine Chloe will play a big part in next season's opening, it won't be centered around her. There are a lot of questions to be answered for every character. I'm betting it will be as jam packed and diverse as any other season's beginning.

I like Chloe but I really hope that Clark and his dark path will be the center of the season's opening. I think Chloe deserves a rest after this year and Watchtower sounds like a good place for her to relax a bit.

If it's Chloe centric, I won't be watching it. And since the premiere is the one where I decide if I'll bother with S9 or not, if they make it Chloe centric that's an automatic not.

As of now I hate Chloe with a passion, and I hope to see as little of her as possible.

Chloe's my favourite character and even I am disgusted with her actions in this Doomsday ****.Me too, but somehow I can't blame Chloe, at least not for this, cause it was like this episode was not connected to the entire season... Things got too dramatically changed, characters who got a new makeover, changing their personalities and even their identity.

I agree for Clark. I really hope he will be AT LAST the centric character, he deserves it and us too especially after this amazing last scene he was in. I want to know what will happen to me. And for Chloe, at the moment, I don't know if she needs to rest but I need to rest and don't see her a lot for a moment:D

Why do you hate Chloe?

I was never FOND of her to begin with. I never really cared one way or the other about her, I was indifferent.

Then, Turbulence came. She sided with Davis over Jimmy. Strike 1. I was a little annoyed with her.

A little after that, come Eternal and Stiletto. Hiding Davis in the basement. Cleaning up the body parts after his mess. Hiding that from everyone. Strike 2. Now I was getting angry.

Then comes Beast. Ollie almost gets killed by her pet serial-killer. She stops Clark from throwing him where he belonged. She decides to RUN AWAY with him, endangering human life. Strike 3. Now I started having a strong dislike for her.

And in Doomsday, she's portrayed as a saint. She LIES that she did it all for Clark. Everybody seems to forgive her like nothing happened. The man she stopped from being put away, the man she insisted is still good KILLED Jimmy. Strike 4, and she should've been out at 3, but I gave her one more. I officially started hating the character.

So, you understand if a Chloe-centric episode (especially premiere) is not my idea of good TV.

I'm actually one of the people who also hated that Chloe is still alive. The way they wrote her character and most of the season being about her, its annoying. I would prefer to see 22 Episodes for ED and 12/13 for AM. Anyone agree?
So basically, i would hate a Chloe centric premiere. More Clark/Naked Man/Lois.
Chloe's story ended in Doomsday. While DD's fate is unknown, what "Clark" is going to do, who this naked man is, and where the hell is Lois.
Oh yeah, we're gonna get those threads now as well.

I agree! I think people let their passion run away with them and have thus lost their objectivity! I mean so what if Chloe is alive, that is a good thing! This way her character can get back on the right track, Lois will be found and back after the first or second episode and will probably star in 17 or more episodes, Jimmys younger brother will take over for Jimmy in the future thanks to Chloe's very thoughtful gesture, Clark will go through another development, nut so what? Stop being so negative people!!!! Be excited, we are going to have another season, and who knows it might prove to be the best one yet!

No one lost their objectivity or let their passions rule them. If you read most of the complaints you'd see there are solid grounds, and objective opinions, they just don't cater to your overall perception of events, or rather optimism for the future. This has been talked about from the beginning of the season, it's not just the finale either. Moreover, what you said is analyzing members which is against the rules, and it's rather condescending as well. Some of us do see the silver-lining and some felt this season has crossed the point of no return and can't say I blame them for the reaction/assessment.

I personally, will watch season 9, however, I have no interest in seeing another Chloe centric season. I will only watch for Clark, Lois, and/or JLA specific episodes, the rest is pointless melodrama. You say, so what if Chloe is alive, it's a good thing, to you, but to others a mythos character was thrown under the bus to save that character in order to exist. I mean no offense, but you should try being a little more objective yourself, and I mean no ill will by that statement. Chloe not only exists, despite the story-telling and Chloe centric-sodes pointing in that direction, but she is put on a pedestal and all crimes forgiven, despite the mortal emotional blow that provoke Davis's irrational murder. Davis did kill Jimmy, however one must consider what lead to that fatal event.

They claimed this decision was based to align with the mythos. In that case, Chloe should also be gone according to mythos. And the turn of events Chloe shares in the responsibility, and culpability, she took a lot of action and steps that lead to this outcome, you can thank the writers for that, it was intentional.

We can speculate, lets say Clark, is not the real Clark of the superman legends, and his real name is Johnathan Clark Kent, because that is what was done to Jimmy's character, or like finding out that the Chloe we knew was a clone all along made to kill Clark since she resurrected herself. The character is tainted forever. Think it's so far fetched, Shelby was a boy, then turned into a girl in Stiletto, Jimmy, was Jimmy Olsen for 3 seasons, then became Henry with brother that was never mentioned in committed.

So there's going to be a lot of controversy because of the fear of taking something to be taboo and find a loop hole with a crappy unbelievable background story that makes no rational sense whatsoever. What's to say your favorite supposed mythos character is safe. So, expect complaints, because it was an intelligence insulting finale, no point and telling people not to vent, but rather encourage the silver-lining of the episode I would suggest. ^^
