I'm sure she wished she did too. Its so stupid they gave her the power then took it away in the first place. They could of brought it back explaining that it was brianiac that messed the power up but when he was extracted she got it back or something.

When Brainiac attacked her last season, all her healing power was used up fighting off his takeover of her mind.

Which is kind of stupid IMO, because we've never seen a meteor freak's powers get used up.

I agree it was stupid. As i said I would understand them not being around while brainiac was still in her. But after he left you would think that it would grow stronger agian. Maybe slowly come back. (heal a plant .. a cut finger like jimmies) before coming back in full. but it just disappeared. Just makes no sence we are supose to forget she had it i guess

I was a little confused when Jimmy died in Chloe's arms... Every other time someone is dying in front of her she has healed them. Did she lose her powers in another episode and i missed it? It wouldnt be a first but its bothering me that i don't know...:confused:

I must admit that would have fit nicely if they had included it in the episode. But I think that might be a little repetitive, as she has done her "whole crying over a dead body and saving them" deal a couple times before. But I would be interested in knowing if she still has that "meteor power" - aren't they permanent?

I was kind of hoping that she would use her healing power -- but in the back of my mind, I knew she had lost them. It was then that I realized the two deaths were Davis and Jimmy - I was shocked. I accept it, and rather than cop out, I just see it as part of the story, it just is... but that doesn't make it any less tragic or make me not wish that there was some way that it could be reversed.

I think her tears lost a lot of their potency using them on the people she really and truly loved....Jimmy would've ended up getting some of Chloe's generic tears.

As far as her reaction, I would think she would be on her knees, or been so angry that she losses her head and fights. But the logic-talking crap, it didn't feel right to me.

I was under the impression that when she damaged Braniac and "absorbed" his power, she let go of hear healing. In Odyssey, healing Clark would've been a damn good time to use it too. :)

Chloe's power was unique like that though really; every time she used it, it took a greater toll on her body, so it makes sense for it to be the one power that eventually expires. Now if someone who was also invunerable had it I'm sure it would be a different story.

I really, really, REALLY wish that she'd have had the chance to bring him back. :( It was probably the saddest of the whole season... But nope, I think that when Brainiac hacked into her body systems, he disconnected any access she had to her empathic abilities, or deleted them completely, unfortunately.

I think TPTB need to explain this whole healing ability just disappearing because didn't Knox in Cure mention that her heart was surrounded with Kryptonite which is why he needed her heart to make his wife immortal? When she was infected by Brainiac did he just magically disolve the Kryptonite? or as someone else mentioned Brainiac just kind of disconnected her ability use it?

So if she is still infected with Kryptonite then her power is still there it's just dormant and could possibly be reawakened, although you would have thought having the love of her life dying in her arms would be enough to awaken her power.:confused:

Why is it so hard to believe Chloe's run-in with Brainiac rid her of all Kryptonite radiation/power? Obviously, she did something to Brainiac to weaken him...I took it to mean her healing abilities counter-acted Brainiac's attack in a sort of positive/negative cancellation, leaving both Brainiac and Chloe drained (Brainiac of electricity, and Chloe of meteor power). End of story. I thought it was fairly evident by "Odyssey."
