I'm also not swallowing the load of BS about her protecting Clark by cozying up to Davis. For MONTHS she barely gave two craps about Jimmy, and was all about Davis.

Yes he died saving her, have to say that Chloe & Jimmy's scene previous to the dead was beautiful! Chloe convinced me she was in love with him.

You know, I'm really tired of hearing about all Chole has sacrificed this season. She didn't sacrifice anything, she made a choice. She chose Davis over Jimmy, she chose Davis over Clark (when she interfered with him sending DD to the Phantom Zone). Chole is not a martyr, she is the cause of all the "problems" faced by everyone this season. Rokk even basically confirmed in the beginning that Chloe screwed Clark. And I say this as someone who likes Chole, but she needed to go not Jimmy.

I don't really mind having her character on the show...but they NEED to figure out her "role" now..it should no longer have anything to do with planning/conniving behind Clark's back.

Plot hole or purposeful choice on the writer's part?This wasn't really shown (much like a lot that would have helped in the finale) but Chloe doesn't have the ability anymore. She used it all up against Brainiac in the S7 finale.

Chloe should be the one to die, she outlived her usefulness years agoTrue, now there is cause for resentment of her character, this isn't going away either, and they do plan on making an end for that character. Not to mention, these times and events happened because Chloe was saved in Legion. It was a gutless move, the cop out in order for Chloe to live, extremely bad story-telling with the obvious anvils. I knew they lacked the cajones.:lol: However, with lois traveling in time who knows what the future holds.

Oh, and what was up with the Chloe suck-up, seriously, this was a chloe butt kiss finale and screw everyone else.

Okay, so i'm in like total confusion and shock. I have been a Chimmy fan since season 6. i got so excited because i thought they were going to get back together! then Davis kills him, then he kills Davis and Jimmy dies in Chloe's arms? He wasn't the real Jimmy olsen? this is so confusing. After it was done I literally sat infront of the T.V. and stared at it. Chimmy 4ever! R.I.P Chimmy:eek::confused:

Like I stated in a previous thread, for people who are trying to tie up the show to the mythos, they certainly put a lot of screentime to a characer who is not supposed to exist IN THE MYTHOS in the first place lol. A real mythos character is sacrificed instead.

I don't know that I can agree with Davis loving Chloe, necessarily. I think in terms of him, it had a lot more to do with obssession. It's like Fatal Attraction, except he's Farrah Faucet. lol. Now, Jimmy, on the other hand - he actually did love her. And, look what that got him? Hmm, yeah...let's think about that for a minute.
