Look like he really was a punk. Good thing he's dead now. I was kind of hoping Jimmy would start pounding on him. I think he should the had a more violent death. I was thinking Doomsday would rip his head off. I wish he could have rip all 4 of Davis limbs off. Would anybody here like to have seen that, Davis in a wheelchair with a breathing tube suffering for the rest of his life?

No, he wasn't. The writers were punks. This is such bs, the worst writing ever.

Way to ruin Davis's character with him killing Jimmy at the end. Sam Witwer deserves better.

Davis was a punk but he isn't dead. He is now going to be the next Zod this show throws at us. After 8 years of this i'm starting to think the Chloe is Lois Lane and this Lois Lane isn't the real one but the reason she uses the name.

I thought Davis was so sweet, plagued by his dark side and that after he would be separated, chloe and him would be together. Though I found jimmys return incredibly cute and sweet I was hoping for Davis/chloe. Now he's full of homicidal rage? I though it was only his dark side that plagued him, he seemed so selfless and brave when he tried to kill himself and tried to distance himself, I was disappointed in his reaction. :(

Completely agree... what a great message this season has sent in regards to Davis.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. After all that, they turn his character into a psycho. From what we were shown, the real Davis would never hurt Chloe so once he's free of Doom, why the hell would he go psycho?

I love your vids. Thank you so much. I think you should omit the psycho Davis and cold awful Chloe parts. Let's pretend they went off into the sunset together to live happily ever after. :D

Clark talked about how he wanted to save the human side of Davis but how he ended up being a killer too.
Would it have been a more effective statement if the writers had Davis kill Chole when he found out she was only with him to protect Clark? The idea this season was that Chloe supposedly made all these sacrifices to save Clark (although I still disagree with this stance, IMO she made her choices and chose Davis). Anyway, she stayed with Davis to keep him from becoming DD and killing people, yet it is the human side of Davis that ends up killing her at the end. It would've been extremely ironic. Plus, many have said on here that the only way Clark will get the push to become Superman would be for Chloe to die.
Don't get me wrong, I like Chloe so don't think I'm just anti-Chloe and want her gone from the show. Just a thought, what do you guys think?

How did, when did Davis ever become in any way human? He's no more biologically human than Clark. Genetically engineered on Krypton by rogue Kryptonians. At least Clark had some humanity, if onky an acquired characteristic, but Davis didn't have even that. Davis is not human except in his parttime appearance only.

The whole reason for Clark not killing Davis to stop DD is because he wanted to save his "human" side of Davis. He thought Davis was worth saving and wouldn't take his life to stop DD. Clark wouldn't kill him b/c of his faith in humanity and in Davis the person. . . not Davis the monster DD. Then at the end, Clark even says he wouldn't kill Davis b/c of his faith in his humanity, but that ended up being as bad as his monster side. Thats what I mean. That's the entire point of this whole ordeal was that Clark wouldn't kill Davis b/c of his humanity, but Davis ended up having no more humanity than DD. Thats the entire point.

It was another WTH/BS moment .... or better saying .... another character assassination the writers did to conveniently save their butts because of the whole DC/Jimmy/Age situation.

Davis should not have been a killer, and his final moments didn't have to have anything to do with Jimmy. Some better possibilities:
* Doomsday kills Davis.
* Tess kills Davis, thinking he's still Doomy.
* One of the JLA members, late to the scene, kills Davis, thinking he's still Doomy.

really? I thought both killed each other, the writers needed to find a way to get rid of Jimmy and they did it.

That's the way they did it, but my point is that they didn't have to. Neither Davis nor Jimmy had to be a killer. (Not that I blame Jimmy...) I thought they overdid Davis's anger.

Davis' character has been really inconsistent throughout the season. He is simply whatever plot device the episode needs him to be without any connection to previous episodes. It would have been better if Doomsday had killed Henry and Davis could have been shown to be unstable when separated from Doomsday (would have been very ironic if it turned out that he was not able live without Doomsday). Oh well. :\
