According to Rokk, Clark is no longer in the future, yet his impact is still felt in Legion's time.

If Clark died as history recorded, then there wouldn't have been any reason for history to remember him as the legendary hero; the RBB is still half enigma, half urban legend at this point.

But if Superman died on the same day then of course there would be significant cause to remember him, even though his career was cut short and he didn't get to do all the things he was originally meant to do

am I making any sense?

The ring would have taken Lois to where she wanted to be and when she wanted to be there.
Where she would have wanted to be was the phone booth - to meet the red/blue blur. That's what she set up herself.
The when is the key. Could she have put herself there at the moment she disappeared and changed stuff and what would she have changed? Or did she wish it to be the right time for the meeting.
Now I'm wondering if there were any clocks in this episode!
My head hurts!
But at least Oliver is okay!

If Rokk intended the ring to send Davis to the Legion time, wouldn't he have programmed it only to return to that time?

I think Lois is with the Legion now

The Legion rings have never had time travel as a feature. They used Time Bubbles to travel through time. Since it's a new feature, maybe it's programmable and all Clark had to do was get DD to touch it. That would send Lois to the 31st century if it just took whoever touched it besides Clark.

The rings are guided by the person's will, like Green Lantern's ring. There have been instances where the rings were used by a Legionnaire who was not actually wearing the ring, but they had to be touching it.

Since Clark was touching the ring, but not telling it to do anything, it didn't. But with Lois, maybe she was thinking/willing something strongly enough to send her somewhere specific.
