1.Jimmy cannot die. He is a franchised DC character they will have to bring him back.
2. The producers said they want to stay as close to the mythos as possible, well Jimmy Olsen Clark's best friend cannot be dead before he is even Superman.
3. Lois is still missing and has the ring, which means time is going to change somehow.
4. Time in fact had to change since Clark did not die as Legion said would happen.
5. All of this garbage in this episode will have to be undone like in Reckoning.

In other words this episode never happened. This is the worst season finale ever. kk thanks.

Umm, apparently you missed the whole point of the funeral scene? The "Jimmy" Olsen we've had since the start of Season 6 was never the actual Jimmy/James Olsen of the comics & other Superman incarnations. As strongly implied/revealed, the little brother at the funeral is the genuine James Olsen, whose older brother Henry James (<-- middle name) Olsen has been murdered. Henry was the "Jimmy" all along, hence why it was no prob for him to be so close to Clark and Lois' ages, finding out Clark's "secret", and being killed for keeps. A huge twist, no doubt about it, but a very incredible and interesting reveal in my honest opinion. I never would've saw this coming a mile away and hey, at least we get to say that in Clark's Superman years, Jimmy will be an appropriate younger age.

1. Jimmy's little brother, who Chloe talked to could be the real Jimmy Olsen that's seen in the comics. If not, why would the writers include him? I believe that he will grow up and be a photographer/reporter after Chloe gave Jimmy's brother, his camera.

mabe jimmy is not dead because they said there is one fake death and one that is finale and we have the legion ring in this too. That leaves many possibilities open. also davis could be dead but i think he was in the end at the zod sign.

This Jimmy dying does follow the mythos. He was too old to be the comics Jimmy Olsen.

What about flippin Aaron? Did the producers really not think that leading someone to think they're playing a huge iconic character, representing a famous character that's been known for so long, just to be told "fooled ya!" isn't a sh*tty way to treat someone?

I dont care if making the real JO younger follows the mythos...that is the LAST THING they should be worried about if they plan on lining up with the mythos. They have already changed up a lot when it comes to the real telling of Superman's story. JO's age was a nonfactor compared to the other things that have been changed. I loved this Jimmy and I am so mad he's not gonna be back. SO MAD!

Isn't a bit creepy that both brothers are named James? It's like Michael Jackson's kids, Prince Michael and Prince Michael II. Anyway, keep Chloe away from him or the poor boy will die too.

Or like George Foreman's kids all being George...ego!

Seriously...

This is kind of like taking the Chlois theory and sticking it on someone else.
