I do that too. I record every new episode as back up... I usually watch with my dad, cause he originally got me into it, but he's going out of town on business week and is going to miss it, so I'm recording it for him.... lol.... 23 years and still watching tv with my father, that's so weird lol:rotfl:

MY PLAN FOR THE FINALE:

- Watching by myself like any other week: Technically sometimes I do watch the series with my fiance but most of the time I watch it in the guest room because my fiance doesn't watch Smallville. He actually watches the competition, aka Bones! :lol:

- Ordering Pizza: I've been ordering pizza for every Lois Lane episode this year--don't ask! :p

- Stocking up on junk food: Well I usually don't eat too much of that, but each Lois Lane ep I crave and end up buying chocolate ice cream. Again, don't ask!

- Dressing up in superhero shirts and costumes: Don't have a costume, never been one of "those people" lol but I do have this very cute navy blue superman shirt with a glittery "S" in the front and I tend to wear that for premieres and finales, or so I have the past 2 years!

- Going to watch Superman/Doomsday: I watched the animated movie last week and read the comic too but I know DI has the movie night tonight for a DD movie so I may tune in to that and re-watch it! :D

- Spending time on Kryptonsite: And about four other forums, too! What can I say? I'm chatty! :lol:

Last year I used to work nights and had to record SV and save it for the next day. It was actually cool because SV wouldl always make me wanna wake up. Then I'd make myself a nice breakfast and watch it before work. Good times! :D

Darn the school anyway for not taking the Smallville Season Finale into consideration! How dare they do this? So, I'll have to have my husband VCR tape the show while he has an appointment with some sort of contractor who is coming to our home- which in itself is a feat because he doesn't like the show and then I will try to watch it soon after my kids are in bed, drinking a Fat Tire, eating pistachios on a poor quailty VCR tape!! Man, I AM LIVID!!!

Well, My most wonderful husband just reassured me that he would take the time to tape the show for me because he knows how much I was looking forward to it and knows how much I find it important to support my kids. So, now I am calmer and am not so livid about the school's timing. And the bright side is now I can watch the show without any family distractions like I normally get. So, now I am just going to curl up on the couch and enjoy my beer and nuts and watch my favorite show after my kids go to bed!!!

You could, it would be neat to check it out (if its free). However, I already paid for the episode. I bought a season pass from Amazon.com; it's supposed to stream in. It comes in at 348Kbs, maybe it's the server. If I actually down loaded it to my hard drive, I'm sure the quality would be better.:)
