The Fortress of Solitude

OK, near the beggning of the series, we saw Clark kinda loose the Fortress AGAIN, it went black and almost powerless, what i'd like to know is.

Is he going to get it back, can it be restored? am i missing something important?

So far, we don't really know what role (if any) the Fortress will continue to play in the storyline. In theory, the Fortress would probably revert to normal once the Brainiac "slime" and/or Doomsday are destroyed for good. Only time will tell...

^ Yes, for all we know, Milton Fine could've left some liquid part of himself behind again before he was sent into the future.
