That crystal was from Krypton, right? So how in the world did Tess destroy it? And so quickly?

And if it was THAT important to the disembodied voice of the orb, whoever it was speaking sure believed her instantly that she had destroyed it.

Out of all the little things in this episode that bugged me, i think that topped the list. Maybe in Smallville, CEO's have powers.

there was supose to be a scene where Tess find out that the PhantomZone Crystal can't be destroyed but they apparently cut that scene.

Yay! You're someone who asked the Same Question I did about that Crystal. :D I recently watched a few of the episodes I liked from S7 and "Kara" is one of them. When Tess told Clark that she had 'Destroyed' the Crystal, I immediately thought that she Had to be telling him another LIE. Also, I wondered Why Clark seemed to believe her lie. In "Kara", when she and Clark were trying to recover her spaceship before it would cause any harm by being tampered with, when they located it inside a 'secret' government facility, it was 'about to blow'. Kara used some method to stop the explosion, but the ship disappeared in the process. Even Kara was mystified as to how that happened and where it could've possibly gone to, and That Mystery has yet to be explained, IMO.

Near the end of that episode, Kara expressed her concerns about the whereabouts of the 'blue' crystal that had accompanied her in the ship. Clark tried to comfort her worries by telling her that she shouldn't worry because her crystal had most likely been destroyed in that explosion when the ship disappeared. Kara disagreed with Clark and told him that the Crystal was Kryptonian and only a Kryptonian could destroy it. No 'earthly' explosion could destroy it. (I guess the writers forgot about the 'informational' dialogue in that particular scene.

Unless the 'Orb' gave Tess some instructions on How to destroy it, and it was really a method for the Orb to transport it someplace else, then I'm confused as to Why they believed her when she reported that the Crystal had been destroyed. If Tess was simply lying to Clark, as I initially suspected, and he believed her, then I certainly agree with you, and that's a pretty Big Continuity Mistake ...Again! :\
