Did anyone pick that up? It was the place where Clark's ride was waiting for him. My guess is that it might have been TW's homage to the best 2 directors the show has had.

I didn't notice that.

Cool catch, though, Costas! :D

Thanx Andrew. It needed a second viewing though. But it was a nice homage. Beeman has always been my favourite director on the show.

Yeah, I caught it right away, and I really hope it was Tom who put the line in there.

Yeah, I posted this in the live discussion thread. I wonder if this is a sign that Beeman may come back next season since he left Heroes. I think Marshall was an executive producer in this episode. I'd rather have Loeb come in as an executive producer.

Having Loeb back would be great. It was also be nice if Geoff Johns came back as a consulting producer or something.

Didn't want to steal your thunder then. ;)

I just never follow the live discussion thread because i watch the episodes later and i don't want to get spoiled. Bringing Beeman back would be fantastic but i think that he will prefer to do something different with his career. I think that MR and him were working on some projects together. I think the line might have been Tom's way of thanking these two for helping him our during his stints as a director.

Yeah, I spotted it, too. :p It gave me a warm feeling that J. Marshall's and G. Beeman's names were included in this episode. I hope also what you said here is true, Costas.

I think the line might have been Tom's way of thanking these two for helping him our during his stints as a director.
It would be an honorable way of showing appreciation for the encouragement and 'tips' he got from them as Tom ventured into Directing.

I'm sorry I can't join in 'the Live Discussion Thread' on Thursday nights. I'm too focused on 'watching' the new episode and I don't want to miss anything so I don't want to talk to Anyone until it's over. My household and friends, who don't watch Smallville with me, Know Not to Interrupt me on my Smallville TV night unless it's an Emergency.
