Now Clark has the Black K, it needs to used twice. He can use it to seperate Davis from Doomsday. Then he needs to use it on himself to release a FLYING KAL-EL to defeat Doomsday!!!!!!!!!!

can he even use it without being affected himself?

seems like he's the only one down with the splitting plan and the only one who can't execute it.

lol i must agree. Kal-El is more about getting business done without crying and emotions and stuff.

Clark's "dark side" is completely self-serving, focused on one thing: destiny, no matter what. After beating Doomsday to a pulp, Kal-El would become a dictator in his own right. It's Clark's emotions and love for humanity that keeps those tendencies in check, which is why he needs both.

Kal-El is not evil...he never tried to do anything evil

Letting Kal-el out would free the world of Doomsday but being ruled by Kal-el would be hell.

I agree. While I don't consider him to be evil, he would be the type of person Jor-El in seasons 2 & 3 wanted him to be. He would rule humans with strength and would let the ends justify the means, meaning he would kill criminals without any reconsideration.

For this reason, I really wanted to see a war between Clark & Kal-El throughout season 7 as the major component of Clark's training. Defeating that stronger, self-serving side of him and reabsorbing him to me would be a major step he would take towards becoming Superman. It would have been symbolic of him beating his "dark side", which unlike the comics is a prerequisite to becoming Superman because they showed us that side of him before he became Superman whereas in the comics, we get to see a similar side of Superman much later after he is already Superman.

Let Kal-el kill the beast. Then GA could use his Kryptonite arrow on Kal-El. Remove the arrow, and let Clark and Kal-El reunite.
