Tess has no idea what she just did. She may have put the world in danger. Now there's no way for Clark to put Doomsday into the phantom zone.

It is obvious that by finding that orb, she was guided by someone to do these things.

Tess working for Zod is some pretty strange logic.

I wonder how shes going to justify this.

The one thing that I don't understand is how Tess knew that Chloe was with Davis. She didn't witness what happened in the fortress during "Beast". Did she get all of this information from the Orb?

This is the second week in a row that a Smallville leading lady has "betrayed" Clark.. Next week Lois is up to bat. Lets make it three!

Yeah this was one of the plotholes that should have been explained more.

And I thought I was the only one who noticed! ;)

On another note, Tess messed with something way beyond her understanding. No matter the reasons, she destroyed a priceless artifact from another planet with immense scientific importance.

My guess would be that perhaps she didn't actually destroy it, she only told Clark that she did.

I've been on a "Clark doesn't have a God complex" kick lately due to the plot lines they have gone with this season. It's nice to see them show that Tess isn't exactly delusional. She is being influenced by technology far beyond her understanding. It's a great way to explain her motivations without it all being "in her head". Her belief that Clark is some sort of messiah is comming from an external influence manipulating her need for spiritual redemption.

Chloe and Davis both missing... she already knows she had an affection for Davis. Also, she could have had people spying on Chloe, and ultimately Davis. When they left the Talon, one of her men stationed outside the Talon could have seen them both. There are plenty of explanations.

I swear some people just look to bash this show for the sake of it. It was a solid episode, but I guess that is just my opinion after all.

How Ironic Tess goes from being Lex's b*tch to Zod's who once controled Lex's body.

I think Clark should leave the Daily Planet to make it harder for Tess to keep tabs on him and that Clark should spy the heck out of her.

Yeah! I mean, guys, seriously, this is TESS! She was taught by a Luthor and all... But then, wouldn't the Orb "know" if she was lying? I dunno.

I agree. If she is going to go around destroying Krytonian artifacts on his behalf than he needs to stay a couple of steps ahead of her.
