who is the Eradicator? And what is this orb thing, Also i may have missed an episode when did this orb thing come into the show? I don't remember seeing this orb thing in any other episodes.. :confused::confused:

The orb was part of the Traveller storyline last season and Lex got a hold of it to use against the Traveller (aka Clark), which was supposed to control him. (It brought down the Fortress last season too).

The Eradicator was part of the Death of Superman storyline in the comics, and was one of the four "Superman" who showed up after the real Superman was killed by Doomsday.

I'm a bit puzzled too. How is it that the Orb's still intact? I always thought that it was destroyed when the FOS came crashing down.

Maybe Tess found it in the premiere while digging around the arctic. I mean, she found Clark's jacket still in tact so a Kryptonian artifact should've easily survived, right?

The FOS wasn't destroyed in Arctic. It simply collapsed back to its original form, the blue crystal. The orb wasn't properly explained, so it doesn't just have the power to remove any advantage Clark has (FOS & his abilities), and they found an opportunity to link it with a Kandor arc that will most probably play out next season.

I totally forgot about lex and the orb thing... so the orb is a "good guy" right?
i remeber the superman Vs. doomsday movie there were some very smart robots in the fortress, is that the eradicator?
