I'm confused, if Chloe is still with Davis, why is he out killing people?

Did I miss something?

my guess is that he's doing it behind her back and sneaking out. I dont think she knows he's doing it. Or if she does she's just looking past it lol? no idea

Maybe he sneaks out and kills while she's in the bathroom.

Or Tess has her somewhere and that's how they were able to fake her tonight?

It could be that Tess had someone pretend to be the beast (like that guy who was copy cat murdering)

I doubt it since why would she kill her own men while they were still willing to fight?
Obviously the group found Davis(maybe he told chloe to run) and he transformed. Hell Chloe wouldnt tell Clark about what transpired.

Yeah...this just seems like another Smallville plothole. :\ I was wondering this too during the episode...

I'm not sure as much of a plot hole as proof that Chloe staying with Davis to protect Clark and keep the Beast from coming out was just bad judgment. One would think the news of the killings would get out, and then what is Chloe going to think? And what will she say to Davis? She's probably been doing mountains of soul searching up to leaving with him, now she really has to be coming apart at the seams....it seems....

Davis must have alot of clothes. Everytime he transforms, I doubt his clothes survive. I"m surpised they never find shreaded clothes near his victims.

True. And hasn't he been wearing the same thing for like 3 episodes already?

Maybe it was a plot hole, it fit in with the injustice storyline so maybe they just forgot about the davis keepin his doomsday down with chloe. Honestly though these "plot holes" are gettin annoying and hard to follow.

I thought it was a plot hole but it could have been easily explained as him just sneaking around, without Chloe seeing him. Maybe it will be addressed next week. For now, I'll call it a plot hole.

That was my guess....I dont think it's actually Davis at all.

Dr. Hamilton found one of DD spikes at the scene of the murders.

Obviously, Chloe's touch isn't so magic. DD is wreaking havoc while Chloe bakes him chocolate chip cookies...no, just kidding. Perhaps Chloe can't always control him. For instance, when the InJustice league members stumbled upon him, maybe Chloe was there too, and in an attempt to "protect" Chloe, Davis let the DD side take control and kill them. Though Chloe wanted to stop him, she couldn't in that moment.

Honestly though, I didn't think Chloe's "magic" touch would last forever...

A lion tamer can only do so much. Can't help when someone willingly pokes a stick at said lion.

I am guessing that Chloe being with him is not enough. It probably never was enough. Sometimes she calms him, and sometimes she doesn't. I think that, ultimately, it only protects her.

I really couldn't tell how Neutron was killed. Looked like his chest was ripped out or exploded. I thoght DD dismembered all of his victims.

Well, that girl that got killed by Tess. The one that said, "I'm out", said she couldn't wait for back up because "that thing" was attacking them. But Tess refers to Davis as a thing and a beast too. So, it might not have been DD. When Davis get's mad enough, he has powers too. So, it might just been Davis attacking them, and not DD.

And I was wondering. For Eva(if that's how her name is) to make up the story that Chloe was running away from Davis, seemed suspicious. What if they saw it happening? Like Chloe running away from him or something and just lied off from there to Clark?

I don't think is Dooms.

As Stiletto showed, even when Chloe is near Davis, if either of them is threatened, Doomy will still come out to play. Clark's presence in Eternal was enough to override Chloe's control over Doomy.

No one died by Doomsday killing them. Dr. Hamilton confirmed that they died by Tess' chip. I'm thinking the Injustice kids attacked and that provoked him they might have threatened or hurt Chloe. But as far as I got no one was killed. Chloe may have tamed him before he could do any real damage.

A nother plothole:lol:

so now the guy who can take punches from Superman was idly walking, miscalculated an entrance and banged his shoulder with the wall causing a spike to fall ?

Doomsday killed Neutron because i think that Davis felt threatened when he realised he was near. At Beast it became apparent that Davis can't hold on for too long. It's quite possible that once threatened he gest even worse. I hope that they make referrance to that in Doomsday.

A bad story detail maybe? Or maybe Chloe is dead? HA HA JK, guess we will have to wait and see what happens next episode.

Well I think it was Doomsday, probably that injustice team member provoked Davis enough to let the Beast come out. Chloe would have some but little effect on him when he or she is threatened. So in my opinion DD was just defending them. I don't like the killings DD has done, but you can't say this one was totally unjustified.

Because Chloe is an epic fail. She isn't saving anyone with her misguided actions. She should have let Clark put him in the PZ at least temporarily.

I'll rewatch it tomorrow. This is how I remember it. One of the characters says to Tess he/she wants out. Parasite steals away that characters powers. Tess and this person remain after the others leave. He/she says something to Tess (don't remember, maybe along the lines or "now what?") They show Tess's face. Then the scene breaks.

When Clark, "Chloe", and the Dr. are there later, I thought to myself that Tess mutelated the body to make it look like he/she was killed by something else. Whether she actually did or not, I don't know. But, I do think she killed the person via remote control.

As for the boney spike - could it have been planted by Tess? Are we 100% sure it was from Doomsday? Could it have even broken off of Doomsday? Were Clark and company just assuming it was from Doomsday? Etc, etc.

I may be all wet on this. I just don't want to rewatch Injustice while the kids are at home but, at this time, wanted to write out how I saw it.

***************

Just rewatched the beginning - I remembered it wrong. I forgot there were two bodies. Tess killed the girl (Livewire?) and Doomsday killed the guy.

So maybe Chloe's effects on Davis are post peak and Davis sneaks out and kills. The Injustice team did talk to Tess about following him and then losing track of him. Maybe they have Chloe somewhere or maybe they were tracking him after he snuck out??
