Did you see how Oliver body slamed that did? He left the dude over his head. I thought that was tight.

Word. For a second there I was wondering if that was even supposed to be him. And when i saw him grab that ball I had a flashback to something I saw in a bar fight many years ago. I was palpitatin'!

What was up with that? I know Oliver is supposed to be strong but really that strong?

He could have peak strenght or the strenght below peak strenght but aboved normole strenght. Forgot what you call it. I weigh 165bls but I can lift about 175bls over my head. Never lift an actual person that heavy though. Not immpossiable to do I guess.

I don't know if you could really say Oliver was a hero the writers have him acting extremely crazy and out of control I almost can't believe he was going to beat Parasite to death but then when I think about it sadly I can

His adrenaline was pumping, his naked tea time with Tess was interrupted.

that was a pretty cool scene. And its not to unreal for him lifting that dude i bet ollie could benchpress like 300+ pounds and i am guessing parasite was only like up to 200lbs.

I believe (Since they cannot have Batman) they are giving Oliver very Batman-esque elements. I personally am a fan of this.

--Making Green Lantern--I mean Arrow-- darker, and "fighting evil with evil" sort of mentality is a very nice contrast to Superman and adds balance to the show.

I say they are both strong in there own right. One, by definition, is pure good. GA, Oliver Queen, Batman, other Superhero's don't have to be...they don't have to be perfect since they're human and I think that is very interesting and I'm glad SV is tapping into it more strongly.

I think it poses a great theme for next year in sorting out two different methods/ways/degrees of heroism. There can be almost 3 teams, Supes & Co., GA's team, and the evil dude (Zod or Darkseid or both). That definitely could be a seasonal arc (Supes & GA starting on two sides of the same side of the battle---where they end up and how they get there could be fun.

After seeing Lois kick a dude across a room while falling.....Im surprised Oliver didn't just smash him right on through the table and into the floor:D

It looked like to me that Oliver got a power of strength somewhere along the line. He is acting very strange and I'm beginning to wonder about him. I'm thinking there might be a surprise in the future about Ollie.

Green Arrow was way cool tonight!!!!!!!! And how could Clark EVER blame GA for taking Lex out (even though Lex is still alive), knowing Lex killed GA"s parents and tried to kill Ollie 3 times? Anyone know where I can get a cool GA avitar? LMK

Oliver isn't super strong. The guy playing Parasite is smaller than the girls in the episode. He can't weigh mare then 150 pounds soaking wet. Chloe could toss him across the room!

Yeah he was cool, he's the guy who does what thinks is right guy even if that means a sacrifice. Take one live to save a dozen or even more, that's the right mentallity, which Clark doesn't have, but that's ok, you got to admire that in Clark he wants to save everyone and now I'm glad that in this episode he decided to save Davis too. But Oliver has wits and charms that Clark doesn't have. He uses it to deceive people and he's good at it. Though he still crashed and burned with Tess lol, but that's ok, he still got what he wanted, after all, we all know he didn't crawl in bed to have a good time with her lol. Though I bet he wouldn't have regretted it if Tess did agree to crawl in bed with him....

He was very strong in that scene. Not too bad for someone who gor rejected for the 10345th time just a few minutes before that.

Parasite was the same actor as the physic guy from supernatural series 1. He barely reaches Sam's elbow in that episode. I wasnt surprised GA could toss him around like that.

How tall was that guy btw?

The actors name is Brendan Fletcher and he is 5'4.

Well below the hieghts of the Smallville cast.

You do realize Lois super-kicked a guy halfway across the room in Stiletto..

Smallville fights are generally over the top and unrealistic.

Oliver was THE superhero on this episode. He was so freakin' in the zone that it isn't even funny! Why can't Clark be like this??? Geez, I want Clark to be the superhero for once. This show is about him!!!

I'd say they were both in top form in this episode. It was written true to both characters. They actually took the time to keep everyone true to their comic counterparts. I finaly felt like I was actualy watching Superman and Green Arrow in the same show without one being "more heroic" than the other. Oliver's motivations are just a bit "off" at the moment.

Was he stronger because of the ring? Green K seems to have alot of different effects on humans.

Honestly why do people think this needs superhuman strength? Throwing someone 5'4-5'6 onto a table? Im in and around that hieght and i reckon Harltey himself could have thrown me! never mind combat trained GA.

Did'nt realize he was that short I thought he was taller. It's hard for me to see if somebody short on tv. If an actor like 6ft2 and the other actors like 6ft7 I would probably think they were a short person in real life. I agree you don't really need super strenght to throw somebody. Some girls could throw a 200bl guy.
